For those who missed the UEFA HQ announcement during the Live Draw:

In light of the Euro's starting from June, the UEFA-FFS HQ is proud to announce that we'll be having another Cup for the Euro's 2012. The format for this Cup is going to be novel with an "interesting twist". This is the first time such a format is ever attempted in the history of head-to-head competitions. We plan to have this as a test trial version for next season's major tournament. Hope the managers will cherish it.

It will be conducted in line with the actual competition, starting from Matchday 1. Hence, we recommend all those interested to keep an eye for this Cup registration, starting from early June. Gear up!

Until June, let's enjoy the action in Europe. 🙂

WHOM to captain for GW 34?
    My options are!:

A:Wayne Mark Rooney, Villa are shite and United are looking to get back on track after the loss for Wigan.

B:Robin van Persie, against a hard-working Wigan who beated United. Though it's Arsenal at Emirates and it's RVP.

C:Stephane Sessegnon, on fire, playing against shitty Wolves at home. Has great home records under MON.

Posted earlier and would love some feedback

Here is what I am looking at and have 1 free xfer + 0.5 in bank

    Ruddy

    Verm, Evans, McAuley

    McClean, Valencia, Walcott

    Rooney, RVP

Krul, Cisse, Cahill, Bale, Dempsey, Simpson.

    Some options as I see them;

    1. Cahill out for Caulker or Bardsley

    2. Hold Cahill for wk36 and bring in Given for Ruddy

    3. Would like to hold Bale but open to letting him go for a mid that plays this week. Made the mistake of letting go Silva last week for Walcott. Should have let Bale go instead.

I think it's pretty even between the 2 defences, reckon they could both get another 2 clean sheets each and out of the 2 players I just picked Caulker because he's slightly cheaper and every bit of cash could help, especially for the double, turner looks a decent shout too though.

Cahil out for Bardsley(he has some attacking threat). 10 is fine to field this week as long as its a strong team. Your keeper will prob get 1 but your other defenders have a good chance and defensive returns. MF is the generic one - Siggy and good Strikeforce. A few weeks ago I woulda said u needed Sig but at Swarsea look like they are on holiday already I think its fine to go without.

hmm, trying to work out what my main rival has done this week.

    He's spent half a million

Am wondering if he dropped BAE for Verm

Would be a silly move given I own Verm and he is chasing a 40 point gap.

I reckon he has dumped either BAE or Raylor.

Thinking Walcott could do well this week (giving me 11 players) but would need to lose bale. I would prob want to bring him back tho for the double..

Is it stupid to do this when it will have an impact on how many double game week players I will have?

I think based on the above I will gamble on Sess.
        I have two doubts
1 The type of formation MON goes for Sessegnon on his own or just dropping off.
He is better just off a striker.
        2 Will MON start him?
        Rotation threat etc.

Could well pay off, Wolves never keep a clean sheet after all. He should start I reckon, but yeah, I don't know whether Bendy will be there or not.

I have 10 players this GW. I am thinking of just copping 1 doughnut and have the 8 DGWs in GW36.

Is this sensible or do I transfer to give me 11 and maybe take a 4 point hit to get 8 DGWs in GW36?
(Never been in this sort of situation before – so just a tactical question).
(The three likely to be brought in using FTs atm are BAE, Bale and Adebayor.)
