Carlos Tevez takes the title race and the Gameweek by the scruff of the neck with a stunning display in City’s merciless mauling of Norwich. United duly picked up the gauntlet, however, with a four-goal drubbing of Villa this afternoon.

Our Members can lose themselves in the statistics from all of the Gameweek’s matches so far – here’s our pick of the key numbers, together with our thoughts on the destination of the Fantasy Premier League (FPL) bonus points…

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Two ways to get in Dempsey.......

    A) Walcott ➡ Dempsey

    B) Sessegnon + Valencia ➡ Dempsey + Ben Arfa

Will ponder over Rooney ➡ Tevez for the rest of the week.

    Thanks All!

Same question and I'm so far leaning more to (A) with these reasons.

      1) United will play before City. They will try their best to win the home game and widen the gap.
      2) Valencia usually did well against Everton. He's in excellent form now.
      3) Apart from last two games that Arsenal won. Drogba & Co. usually beat Arsenal.
      4) In my case, it will be easier to play Valencia-Siggy-Dempsey-Bale and bench Sessegnon.

      That's my thought so far.

Hi lads! Have some transfer alternatives for me this week: 2FT and 0.5M
Rooney is defo going out of my team.

So which of these would you do?

    A:Rooney>Tevez

B:Rooney and Sess > Tevez and HBA, means benching one of Tony V and Walcott

    C:Rooney and Walcott > Tevez and Bale/VDV

    Cheers! 😀

I know Rooney hasn't the best record vs Everton, but transferring him out when he's at Old Trafford feels like a wasted transfer, especially with GW36 on the horizon.

Can't Bale wait another week until GW36?

I'll gladly take C right now.

Blackburn and Wolves are already gone in my opinion. I think its between us, Wigan and Bolton for the last place.

Bolton have games in hand but games in hand can easily be lost as well as won and Bolton's home form has been dire all season so the games in hand aren't necessarily better than having points on the board already.

Wigan could get nothing from the next 3 games (arsenal, Fulham, newcastle) which would leave them in trouble for the last 2 games against Wolves and Blackburn, both teams who will probably already be down by then but teams like that sometimes have a habit of playing the Spoiler role and ending up sending someone else down with them on the last day of the season.

QPR really messed up not getting anything out of the WBA game yesterday and our run in is the hardest of the lot. If we can pick up 4 points from our last home games then we have a chance, but most people looking at the schedule would have us as favourites to go now.

Lots of QPR fans think not picking up anything yesterday was the nail in our coffin. I fear they may be right.

Agueor is the the much safer choice so id go for him as tevez may not even play. If you were trying to catch someone, tevez could have been a good differential

You mean for GW35 i presume? I wouldnt be so sure about him outscoring Rooney tbh.. United are at home against a poor Everton side who will still be disappointed in going out of fa cup.

City are away at Wolves, apart from the Norwich game, their away form has been very poor for a few months, but then again they are playing Wolves!

Even so, i personally would hold onto Rooney.. but i am a unted fan so its possible that i have a slightly biased view im afraid!

Yes, for GW 35. I c. I am a United fan as well, however I try not to be biased when it comes to FPL 😉 Want to give Tevez or Kun a punt over Rooney and see whether it will work out. What are your thoughts on Dempsey (c)?

Yeah i try not to be biased too, can be hard some times! I think captaining Dempsey would be a good call. It is a hard week to choose a captain tho.

I cant decide who to captain myself so half thinking of captaining Johnny evans as i cant see everton scoring at OT.

Having a discussion about the Bale/Cech incident.
As far as I know - you can't send Cech off because he's not preventing a goal scoring oppurtunity - is that correct or have I got the wrong end of the stick?

You have it correct. Advantage law was applied. He could still have been cautioned for the original foul though. However if Bale stopped he would have been sent off IMO amateur referee opinion.

Ah right yeah that makes sense - the foul itself was probably yellow card worthy but not red card worthy in itself it's only the context of being through on goal that makes it red worthy.

    Re: your DGW mids

    Own Bale

Will have 3 Newcaslte, so HBA is out

Is Jelavic, Baines AND Pienaar too much Everton

    VdV still under consideration

Mata is an option to be switched in for Clint in 38, but with the way Spurs are defending Clint could easily net v them. He still looks capable of a big haul. QPR are awful away, I think he'll start that one as the Newcastle one is nearer the final. Of course he could rest Mata for the 'easier' fixture.

Much will be decided after GW35

yup, same, but he does have Wolves in 37, could easily be shipped for Mata after that

Him, VdV and Mata are my 3 options. Not going for Gerrard, Lamps is too much, not touching Stoke, will have Dempsey.

Yeah well its his good games after the DGW that also attracts me.

If i knew Mata would play both games he would be the first bame on my list but just IMO he will only play one game, same with Lampard 🙁
VDV is a very good option but I already have Ade/Bale and feel a defender is most likely worth having?
I agree with Gerrard and also have Dempsey too.

am actually thinking I may leave it on the basis that getting any of them in for McClean forces me to either bench RvP, which just seems wrong, or bench Siggy at home to Wolves.

I can avoid the extra hit and just bench McClean for 2 weeks before I get Mata in.
