I certainly don't think Wolves will play as openly as Norwich did the other day.

Wolves will get murdered. I think Mancini will play his strongest side and it will be just to much for Wolves. They've all but been relegated, they may as well try and go out playing football. Cue the murder. 😉

Got one free transfer left. Don't think so, probably keep hold of it. It's really tempting though. I'd fancy Tevez to score against ManU as well the following week but the dbl is just gnawing at my ear.

I know, I know. I'm trying to convince myself that the sensible thing to do is to hold and get another DGW next week. I agree that it is very tempting though.

    Hi,
    Two questions for you:

    1. Is there any sort of consensus on here as to which is most likely to score most points between Tevez or Aguero? Or has anyone got an opinion based on stats?

    2. If you are thinking of getting one of these two in, is anybody thinking the unthinkable and sacrificing RVP rather than Rooney? I would fancy Rooney to score more than RVP next GW.

    Thanks

      1. Aguero -penalties, will be less likely to be rotated.

      2. Would sooner get rid of Rooney simply because this is RVP's season. But I wont be getting rid of either because I wont be getting any city in my team

Thanks - but I don't get this Aguero - pens (or Tevez - pens for that matter) argument. How do you know who is on pens? Has this ever been tested either way? I thought that Tevez was on pens last year ahead of Balotelli and Balotelli was ahead of Aguero this year...

The general consensus thinks Tevez gets the nod. Based on stats, Aguero has a poor run of away forms until very recently.

I wouldn't sacrifice RVP for either of those. Rooney? Yes, but I'll be getting Rooney back maybe after the Manchester derby.

Just putting it out there, mainly to put my mind at ease over not having Dempsey..

Wigan have only conceded 9 goals in their last 10 games, with those games including half the top 8 teams and a goal that shouldn't have stood against Chelsea.

so, here are my thoughts about DGW players to have:

group A – must haves: Cisse, Bale, TOT defender

Group B – good to have:Mata Demps Baines Ade, Huth

Group C – sneaky punts: Suarez, Terry, Drogba, Jelavich, pinear, skrtel, HBA

group D - massive differential, no money back guarantee: lampard, VDV, gerard, crouch

    thoughts?

Despite lack of TOT form, bale personal form is good just unlucky - ICT scoresm shots on target, involvement and creativity - TOT will focus fully on teh league now and with good fixtures its impossible to ignore Bale in my opinion. VDV has been so unstable and risk of injury and rotation that you cant trust him.

    Hi guys,

Pretty chuffed with 72 with Verm, Walcott and RVP to play. Team is:

    Krul, Mignolet

    Vermaelen, Enrique, Evans, Simpson, Turner

    Walcott, Bale, Valencia, Sessegnon, Sigurdsson

    RVP, Rooney, Adebayor

    0.7 in bank

Have 2FT and thinking Walcott - Dempsey to give me one more DGW player.

    Would you also do:

    A) Rooney - Cisse
    B) Rooney - Tevez

A would give another DGW player and would probably do Evans - Baines for 8 DGW'ers GW36. If B I would more than likely do Evans - BAE for 7 DGW'ers.

Looking at the significant points differences between defence and mids/forwards this season I expect defences to be made cheaper next season and cheaper defences means there will be some right bargains. However, Evans will probably be one of the most expensive defenders and one of his main benefits right now is his cheap price

Do you recommend bringing in Ben Arfa for the double gameweek?

I would bring him in for McClean to give me a midfield of:

Bale, Ben Arfa, Sigurdsson, Valencia, Dempsey

I would have to swap Vermealen to Sagna to fund it.

On other thoughts, I may get Assou Ekotto in for GW35. I then have another double gameweek player.

        I have two FT's for GW35

Hi guys, really struggling with my team. Help would be much appreciated:

    Schwarzer Vorm
    Verm Komp Evans BAE Cualker
    Valencia Walcott Sess Siggy HBA
    Rooney RVP Suarez

I have 2ft and 0.1 in the bank

    Thinking walcott> dempsey this week?
    A) Is it worth doing Rooney>Tevez as well?
    B) Or saving the free to bringing in Bale, Mata and Cisse for Rooney, Valencia and Sess for the DGW?
    C) something else which is genius?

Any comment would be helpful.. thanks!

Right guys, leading ML...hopefully by 35+ if RVP gets on the scoresheet tonight.

Rivals have Cisse, Dempsey, Kompany to my Ade, Bale and Vermaelen.

    1FT and 0.0 in the bank - do I...

    A) Ade > Cisse
    B) Walcott > Dempsey (they'll still have both)
    C) Ade > Cisse + Valencia > Dempsey
    D) Rooney > Tevez
    E) Save transfer
    F) Other...

    Cheers 🙂

    GW35: Kompany & Sessegnon -> Kaboul & Bale (free)
    GW36: Valencia & Rooney -> Lampard & Adebayor (4 point hit)

Anyone reckon Ferguson might give Nani game time against Everton? I fear that Valencia might either be benched early or start on the bench. Either way I think I'll bench him this week as I have a midfield of Sigurdsson, Ben Arfa, Walcott, Sessegnon. Can't justify benching Sessegnon against Wolves or Walcott against a possibly defencless Chelsea...

Given SAF's recent teams, Nani is much more likely to bump out Young, with Tony V safely on the other wing.

Benching McClean this week.. any other thoughts for me on who else to bench?! At the moment I have benched Kompany and that just seems stupid. Even the keeper situ isn't the easiest call - Villa aren't scoring and Blackburn may be without Hoilett and Yakubu.

    Dunno if anyone seen this;

On the 16th of April 2012, the Daily Telegraph reported that a deal had been struck for Nicolás Gaitán to join Manchester United Football Club. The reported fee of the transfer was in excess of £20 million, with Fabio da Silva (On Loan) and Federico Macheda going in the opposite direction to Benfica as part of the deal

tricky. fudge and kieth had little discussion above which has made me think about keeping rooney. that would mean ditching rvp which would be really bloody hard but maybe just maybe it would work. i'd get tevez, just for the pure drama. rvp > tevez. love it.

Thinking a similar thing, van Persie has been off the boil slightly of late and I do have walcott. but on the other hand, its Van Persie. Will wait till Arsenal play Wigan tonight before I decide where he will score a hattrick just to make matters more difficult.
