The Dugout Discussion opens for the concluding fixture of Gameweek 34, which sees 17th placed Wigan Athletic travel down the 3rd placed Arsenal. The team news for the game is in, and the sides line-up as follows…

Arsenal XI: Szczesny, Sagna, Djourou, Vermaelen, Andre Santos, Song, Arteta, Walcott, Rosicky, Benayoun, van Persie.

Wigan XI: Al Habsi, Alcaraz, Caldwell, Figueroa, Boyce, McCarthy, McArthur, Beausejour, Moses, Di Santo, Gomez.

A single change from the side that brushed Wolves aside for the Gunners, as Tomas Rosicky comes in for Aaron Ramsey in midfield.

Despite condemning Manchester United to only their fourth defeat of the season, Shaun Maloney isn’t in the visitors squad. Jordi Gomez replaces the Malaysian born Scot.

The Dugout Discussion chatroom is open and can be accessed right here.

Although VP hasn't scored he still has been impressive. He's been involved in nearly all of Arsenal's attempts and has had the the majority of shots in the game. People are mad to get rid IMO

Think people are getting towards their last throw of the dice. With 4 gw's to go you can't afford to wait for someone's form to pick up again, and there are lots of genuine alternatives at the minute.

I wouldn't do it if I was on top but Rooney or RVP has to go for me this week, need to gamble!

if he struggles against wigan i dont see why u cant take a punt on aguero/tevez versus wolves imo
surely they will do better against wolves than RVP against chelsea

He struggled against Wigan because they're fighting out of relegation. Can't do anything about that. Besides he has Stoke, Norwich and WBA to come - teams that are mid table and have nothing to play for really. Top and bottom tems will fight harder
