Thanks to Gylfi Sigurdsson’s fine opening strike against visiting Blackburn, the Flutter is playing with profits this week, as Paddy post three more markets for us to sink our teeth into…

We risked just a £1 stake on Swansea’s Icelandic playmaker, and as such our returns were far from life changing, but this week Paddy are upping the odds as Sigurdsson and Co. visit Bolton, and in turn, we’re going to throw more cash at it. Paddy are offering 12/1 on a goal and a clean sheet for the Swans at Bolton, but as last week’s strike was Gylfi’s first at home out of his seven goal tally this term, we’re more confident and reckon a chunky £4 is worthy of his talents in the Reebok clash.

Papiss Cisse has featured in the Flutter in some form or another for weeks now – and he’s been quite the cash cow. He’s netted both home and away, whilst Newcastle’s in-form defence have conceded just one in the last five. Stoke have been earnest of late, however, battling hard and picking up score draws away from home, but with Tiote set make a return, a win to nil looks on the cards for the Magpies. Paddy are offering 18/1 on Cisse to bag a brace and Newcastle to gain another cleansheet. It’s a big ask, but we’re confident our £2 will make a return.

How long can Wigan keep winning? Liverpool, Manchester United and now Arsenal have all fallen to Roberto Martinez’s giant killers, but who will it be that brings them back down from cloud nine? Clint Dempsey will find himself alongside the returning Pavel Pogrebnyak in Fulham’s attempt to halt the momentum built by Wigan. The American has taken the goalscoring baton whilst Progrebnyak has been injured and will be reluctant to return it. Paddy are dangling 9/2 for a Dempsey goal and a Fulham cleansheet at the Cottage, that may be a touch short with “Pog” back in the mix, but with £4 left, we’re gonna take a punt.

Money Back Specials

Paddy are throwing us three opportunities to bet and get our money back this weekend. Starting at the Arsenal vs Chelsea clash – if there are four or more goals in this game, Paddy Power will refund all losing First Goalscorer, Last Goalscorer, Correct Score and Scorecast singles on the match up to a value of £100 per customer.

The same applies if Man United go goal crazy against Everton at Old Trafford – if United fetch four goals or more in this game, Paddy Power will refund all losing First Goalscorer, Last Goalscorer, Correct Score and Scorecast singles on the match up to a value of £100 per customer.

Perhaps you fancy neighbours City to wash past Wolves? That’s certainly the general consensus. If Man City score four goals or more at Molineux, Paddy Power will refund all losing First Goalscorer, Last Goalscorer, Correct Score & Scorecast singles on the match up to a value of £100 per customer.

Register and Bet £10 And Get £20 Free

If you’re new to this betting lark and new to Paddy Power then you can take up any of these odds and offers and get yourself a bonus. You can sign up via this site and get a free £20 when you register an account and bet a tenner.

Finally of course, we should state that all these offers are only available to those aged 18 and over and are subject to Paddy Power’s terms and conditions. Also, if you’re going to bet, always gamble responsibly.

Ok this may bite me but i have done RVP to Tevez……

Resons being….RVP is a bit cold at moment, Playing Chelsea and next week away to stoke which have proved this season a tough nut to crack at home.

Tevez over aguero……i think next week if anyone is going to ruin uniteds show its going to be tevez!

      Sound logic in my opinion.

Only reason I did Rooney instead of RVP was that it would cost me too much to get RVP back if I wanted him back for GW37, whereas it was within my budget to get Rooney back as the dropoff from him to Tevez is smaller.

I am thinking on the same lines. Rooney is playing bad but still manages quite a lot of points at home. RVP's last 3 home games returned total of 6 points. Chelsea might be bit jaded but i think Cahill and Terry can keep RVP quiet. And last time when he got treble against us, he was in great form with 2 double figure scores in previous 3 games.

Yeah. If I didn't lose so much on RP I'd have jettisoned him instead to be honest.

i think Tevez will outscore them both this week anyway and likely I will swap Tevez for DGW striker (Ade) next week so mine is just a 1 week punt with my 1 of 2 freebie transfers this week.

Other xfr saved for next week so its all good.

Actually, I'm getting rid of my Liverpool defender next week. I don't think Enrique will start both games so I'm playing him today then replacing him with Huth, who I think everyone will ignore for BAE.

I reckon Huth is going to be one of those players that ends the DGW scoring better than most people imagine he will.

    Rvp, Aguero (c) and Cisse

McLean is bench fodder this week but half thinking about Walcott out for either HBA or Bale. Would like to get both in for DGW and fancy both to do better this week than Walcott.

Tevez and Aguero have started 3 league games together this season...

in them, Aguero has scored 3, 2 and 2

Hope that helps anybody like me pondering the Kun v Tevez dilema...

I did RVP > Tevez (c) this week because of the ownership %. The way I see it, unless your number 1 in the world, you are chasing.

Obviously a lot of people doing Rooney/RVP --> Aguero/Tevez this week but would it be madness to make such a move for a 4 point hit? Especially with an 80+ over nearest rival?

Not for a hit, no. I'd save the transfer for next week.

If its for free then yes. I did it cos I have 2 FT's this week and only planned on using 1 so for me it was a throwaway transfer to a player who may get me more points this week than Rooney.

Right, this is doing my head in. Thought I'd decided but I'm back to square 1.

Bench 1 of ... Kompany (wol), Evans (EVE), Simpson (STO), Vermaelen (CHE), Walcott (CHE).

Thanks in advance, sorry for the endless stream of drivel I've been posting 😛

    How this looking?

    Vorm
    Verm Evans Williamson
    Demps Bale Walcott Valencia
    RVP(c) Roo(vc) Cisse
    Subs: Sorenson Caulker Turner McClean

156pts ahead in my mini-league, so playing it safe with capt choice and nearest rival's been sticking with RVP/Roo. Tempted by Aguero/Tevez but would you agree in sticking with what I have?

I'm in a similar position but with an 80ish point lead. I'd say you're more than safe with a 156pt lead tbh! I have RVP and Roo and leaning towards captaining Rooney, but it's almost 50:50 for me. I am tempted by either Roon/RVP --> Aguero tho, just not sure if it's worth a 4pt hit :S

Cheers; yeah, when you put it like that, I'm pretty safe! What I've taken on board is Roo's previously poor record against Everton and, with Aguero, worth thinking about his poor away form and whether Tevez will steal the limelight. Do you have enough in the bank for Roo > Tevez?

    Team this week.

    Krul
    Evans J Vermaelen Walker
    Sessegnon Sigurdsson Walcott Valencia
    Graham Van Persie Rooney

    Vorm McClean Simpson Cahill

Unsure of captain straight away and whether I should be bringing in Dempsey this week and taking a hit next week (Sess for Bale and Roo for Ade)

    Thoughts?
    Cheers!

i would captain rooney from those lot despite the fact i just sold him

imo, your main issues are obviously no City coverage and like you said no Dempsey.

I would double on Newcastle def too
