Thanks to Gylfi Sigurdsson’s fine opening strike against visiting Blackburn, the Flutter is playing with profits this week, as Paddy post three more markets for us to sink our teeth into…

We risked just a £1 stake on Swansea’s Icelandic playmaker, and as such our returns were far from life changing, but this week Paddy are upping the odds as Sigurdsson and Co. visit Bolton, and in turn, we’re going to throw more cash at it. Paddy are offering 12/1 on a goal and a clean sheet for the Swans at Bolton, but as last week’s strike was Gylfi’s first at home out of his seven goal tally this term, we’re more confident and reckon a chunky £4 is worthy of his talents in the Reebok clash.

Papiss Cisse has featured in the Flutter in some form or another for weeks now – and he’s been quite the cash cow. He’s netted both home and away, whilst Newcastle’s in-form defence have conceded just one in the last five. Stoke have been earnest of late, however, battling hard and picking up score draws away from home, but with Tiote set make a return, a win to nil looks on the cards for the Magpies. Paddy are offering 18/1 on Cisse to bag a brace and Newcastle to gain another cleansheet. It’s a big ask, but we’re confident our £2 will make a return.

How long can Wigan keep winning? Liverpool, Manchester United and now Arsenal have all fallen to Roberto Martinez’s giant killers, but who will it be that brings them back down from cloud nine? Clint Dempsey will find himself alongside the returning Pavel Pogrebnyak in Fulham’s attempt to halt the momentum built by Wigan. The American has taken the goalscoring baton whilst Progrebnyak has been injured and will be reluctant to return it. Paddy are dangling 9/2 for a Dempsey goal and a Fulham cleansheet at the Cottage, that may be a touch short with “Pog” back in the mix, but with £4 left, we’re gonna take a punt.

Money Back Specials

Paddy are throwing us three opportunities to bet and get our money back this weekend. Starting at the Arsenal vs Chelsea clash – if there are four or more goals in this game, Paddy Power will refund all losing First Goalscorer, Last Goalscorer, Correct Score and Scorecast singles on the match up to a value of £100 per customer.

The same applies if Man United go goal crazy against Everton at Old Trafford – if United fetch four goals or more in this game, Paddy Power will refund all losing First Goalscorer, Last Goalscorer, Correct Score and Scorecast singles on the match up to a value of £100 per customer.

Perhaps you fancy neighbours City to wash past Wolves? That’s certainly the general consensus. If Man City score four goals or more at Molineux, Paddy Power will refund all losing First Goalscorer, Last Goalscorer, Correct Score & Scorecast singles on the match up to a value of £100 per customer.

Register and Bet £10 And Get £20 Free

If you’re new to this betting lark and new to Paddy Power then you can take up any of these odds and offers and get yourself a bonus. You can sign up via this site and get a free £20 when you register an account and bet a tenner.

Finally of course, we should state that all these offers are only available to those aged 18 and over and are subject to Paddy Power’s terms and conditions. Also, if you’re going to bet, always gamble responsibly.

Morning all. Usual Saturday morning panic about team!

    Current team:

    Vorm (mign)
Clichy, Simpson, J Evans (BAE, Turner)
    HBA, Valencia, Dempsey, Siggy (Walcott)
    RVP, Rooney, Cisse

Am happy with defenders but is Walcott the right sub choice for midfield? In terms of form it is actually Valencia with the recent dip. No idea on captain yet!

Also like everyone am thinking of RVP/Rooney out of Tevez/Ag. Either should be good and would play next week against MUN at home.

    Any opinions?

Ok - not doing the Roo -> Tevez/Aguerro thing ... gonna resist that one

But have Young and Walcott and thinking about getting Dempsey in ... only have 1 FT though so

    a) Young -> Dempsey
    b) Walcott -> Dempsey
    c) Save the FT

    What thinks y'all?

Looking for advice on what to do this week … current team:

    Krul
    Verm JEvans Simpson
    Siggy Demps Valencia Walcott
    Cisse (C) Rooney RVP

    Bench: Ruddy McClean Caulker Turner

Protecting a small 20 point lead from a rival with a very similar team. I have Cisse/Walcott vs his Aguero/Bale. Got a feeling he will go with Aguero (C).

With 1FT this week and WC available for next week, should I

    A) Sit tight and have Cisse (C) vs Aguero (C)
    B) Roon/RVP > Aguero (C), which leaves my Cisse vs his RVP/Roon
    C) Use the FT elsewhere in the team

Reading the flutter every week, and it seems that the overall P&L is very negative. And the main reason is that the odds are so far off. If you bet on CS, just go on Betfair and you wont need an accumulator for attractive prices

How's my team look this week?
    Vorm
    Verm, Simpson, Collins, Evans
    Valencia, Siggy, Walcott
    RVP(vc), Tevez (c), Ba(I know!)
    Subs: Howard, Sess, Sinclair, Turner
Subs and captain right? Done Rooney -> Tevez and Enrique -> Collins this week for a 4 point hit. Chasing a 30pt minileague lead and #1 has also made a 4pt hit and has 5.1 in the bank so I'm guessing he has gambled on some Bolton/Villa people 🙂 By the way I am wildcarding next week 😀

    Hi guys.
    Could I have your opinion on this;
I'm chasing in one mini league (35p) and I'm ahead in the other (30p). The one I'm chasing has Rooney and Walcott, but not Dempsey and Aguero. The ones that are chasing me does not have Rooney and Walcott, but Dempsey and Aguero. Would it then be wise of me to use my two free transfers to sell Walcott and Rooney and buy Dempsey and Aguero?!

City look to have found their mojo again and look like scoring goals.

Arguably despite no DGW, Aguero and Tevez could outscore players with a DGW between now and the end of the season.

The DGW needs to be considered but imo the timing of it isnt great especially for rotation purposes

That was hard. I would play four, but I guess you have a great front-7.

Evans and Simpson for sure. Last spot is a coin toss between possible cleany for Caulker vs possible attacking returns for BAE.

      Verm for me Daniel.

Arsenal have the hardest oppo out of the others.

In fact I play, lfc, nufc, & mufc as a set of 3 defenders this gw.

But Verm is at home and has the highest sealing of all those. He could easily go with 15pt in that game. He gained a CS against City too. Simpson could be on 6 points so I could easily loose 4pt on him. The next is Skrtel who is threat from set pieces too, but Liv are shit and against Roy. That looks like make sense, just hoping for no goal from Skrtel.

The bookies says Verm too, but he is such a threat. Too bad nobody said Jevans, he was my out of the box candidate

Is Sess to Dempsey worth a 4pt move? Still struggling on the captaincy worried not having Aguero/Tevez.

Not going to bench Verm. He is like a 4th striker! More chance of scoring than Simpson so put him in there. I think Arse will beat Chels comfortably enough.

morning guys. Just one decision left. Who gets my last place in the back 3.
Do I play TAYLOR (SWA) away @ Bolton or SIMPSON @ home to Stoke ?

(Others are BAE & EVANS) ... maybe I should leave out Evans and play them both ?!
