I'd been sitting on my wildcard waiting for this week to try and catch up with some people, and it actually paid off. 144 points and counting. Shame I got my captain choice wrong.
Now I have to hope that these players can put in another two solid game weeks!
Have had Mata all season but now considering taking him out for Moses. Reason being, I don't think he'll start against Liverpool after the FA Cup final and I'd imagine his gametime will, at best, be limited against Blackburn now Chelsea are more or less out of the run for 4th.
Is this good logic? Alternatives to sell would be Bale or Dempsey..

Because they are ultimately doomed now and this is a game they absolutely have to win (Wigan have a better goal difference than other relegation candidates making the game not as essential and a single point would pretty much guarantee them survival).

If the FA Cup is stuck on GWs again it is worth hanging on though. Sadly my wildcardless rival captained Cisse and got just over 100 this week so I didn't make up much of the 100 point gap and face the same kind of position you do. I did halve my overall rank at least 🙂
Next season i'll try and hold onto mine longer... but my team was a shambles when i played it this year and it pulled me out of the mire and back into contention in my ML...
So next week, do I play Gerrard at home to Chelsea or Bale away to Villa?

Yeah it did. Division 3 is the hardest imo. Be Mexico/Norway and you should play easier opponents.
Ive been using Bayern and end up playing Real or Barca every game so its tough! Ill give it a try or might use Anzi, they have Etoo, should destroy teams around the same level.

Don't talk to me about dead teams. I've lost THREE times against dead teams in FFS H2H Reserve league.
Those 9 points would have had me in the promotion slots. Annoying.
Give up H2H's mate if i were you. This is the 1 st season i didn't enter any and it's such a relief not to have to worry about it. The cups on here are plenty enough for me, i just concentrate on my ranking

Well if you don't even check them then maybe it's not an issue. I found i was spending time checking my opponents teams and trying to work out their transfers all to the detriment of my own squad and it's scoring potential. Glad i got rid of them and certainly won't be entering any next season!

Yup. My mini-league started off with ~10 people all very interested, when it was all close it was all they were interested in, me and a couple of others gathered a bit of distance, they drop out. Me and another guy gathered even more distance, and those other couple drop out. For the past 10 GWs it's pretty much been only me and one other guy playing.
