With the bumper Gameweek 36 decided on Wednesday night, and finalised with bonus points on Thursday, we are down to just four Fantasy managers chasing glory in the Paddy Power Cup VI.

As you would expect, we had monster scores all round in the Quarter-Finals, with dannn‘s respectable 85 nowhere near the grade…

It looked like all four ties would go as expected, with the highest-ranked side in each all notching centuries. However, rank outsider ajay_kl upset the apple cart and produced a brilliant 110 to eliminate Rickys Army by just four points (effectively three considering their respective overall ranks).

On to the Semis then, where only one of our final four will go home empty-handed…

      I doubt that'd be a good move. Assuming you ship Evans out and buy Evra instead, if Evra gets a full clean sheet 6 points, you'd be earning back the actual 2 points only deducting the point hit. So there's no difference. Unless you find a really good differential. I think United and City may concede.

          I hope it pays off. If you could've got Rooney in without a hit, I would have advocated it, but your current path looks better than taking a hit, I think.

          Don't think I would do it. -4 is alot if you got a small lead. I have been trying to cancel out the one chasing me the last few rounds, and would still have been on top if I didn't.

          But ofc, could bite you not having VDV....

      Tevez, just cos hes only been playing 60-70 mins 15-20% of playing time, although hes more likely to stay on if they're not winning

        Im more confident of City scoring loads this week than United, for some reason. I think Newcastle (Needing this win to have any hope for champions, will leave themselves open). They are also one of teams in league that concedes many pks, and city have many from which to draw pks. Tevez may just have a monster game. If city score early, the floodgates will open.
