    Morning all, seems a lot are ditching Dempsey to fund Aguero - with Bale likely to shift LB could he not be the better one to lose?
    I guess we could field: Walker Kaboul King Gallas

      I'm probably the only person who thinks Bale might be more dangerous from LB. Joining attacks late = no one can mark him and he can pick up the pace easier with his runs to get a cross in - like Baines but better. 🙂

        I agree. Bale is all about speed and can easily move forward. These days quality wingers and full backs often interchange. Baines was always popping up for crosses, as too does A Cole and Evra.

        Bale's going nowhere for me in this must win game.

          Not to mention BAE being one of the most popular players here due to how much he was getting forward - Bale will be doing the same tenfold.

          Worth mentioning that whoever plays LM for us is likely to play a lot more central than Bale ever did whilst BAE was parading in the opponents half.

      Wigan v Wolves has to be the meaningless game ever invented. No one is secure from rotation, including Moses. Maloney owners should be particularly worried with Gomez lurking ready to pounce into the first 11.

      Silva and Ageuro could be a great combination this week.

        No but Danny Rose did and he was sent off and BAE is out injured so I've seen lots of people say that Bale the likely player to fill in

      I actually think Bale will do better from LB than he has from central midfield and left wing.
      At LB it'll be Damien Duff who has to track him, while at left wing it would have been Stephen Kelly. Bale will cut Duff to shreds.

          Townsend is as much of a LB as Rose is, long-term clearly neither is good enough to play LB at a top Premiership club but for one game only it would make some sense.

    I would assume the arsenal team next season would be:

    Song M'Villa Wilshire
    Walcott. RVP. Podolski

    Its not that bad actually. Depends on how many goals podolski can contribute and whether Wilshire can get back to the top of his game.

          Song and M'Vila are both defensive minded, replacing one of them with Arteta would be a much more attacking team, though dropping Song would lose his chemistry and through balls to RVP.

      I had a look at my hits over the season earlier too. I've taken hits in 7 gameweeks and had green arrows in 6 of those. They do work at times!

        Theirs definetly no right or wrong answer as far as hits go. The ones I was taking earlier in the season were terrible in general. I haven't added it up but I bet the 8 players I brought in have easily out scored the 8 I took out. Might do another this week for a laugh 🙂

          I got 54 could've had 63 if I'd captained RVP! Still got Terry to play. Need him to get 8 points to get through to the FPLTwitterWorldCup Final, through to the FFS CL Cup final though which is cool and still hunting down a top 2.5K finish as that would be my highest ever rank!

        Yeah, Smash is probably my favourite album but Americana and Conspiracy of One were the first two albums i bought of them when they were released.

        I got into Smash, Ignition etc a couple of years after so they don't hold the nostalgic feeling that this album does. 🙂

    I'm quite happy with my team but I'd rather have Aguero over Tevez. Would it be silly to do a direct swap between the two? Aguero has looked amazing and isn't getting subbed after an hour.

      Dempsey or valencia, I was thinking dempsey originally but now I'm being swayed towards valencia. We'll no doubt get beat of man u, but we won't (or should I say shouldn't) make it easy. Spurs defense is gonna be vunerable.
