    Ok guys, 4th draft here and I think I'm happy with it bar two things (no Spurs defence and lack of United midfield). Defence rotates well. As does the midfield which I tried to balance to allow for a heavy hitting front 3. All comments appreciated thanks!

        True, the Nasri situation and Mclean/Larsson will be sorted nearer the time. However if Larsson is on penalties like rumored I think I'll take a piece of that

        The onlyway Sunderland score on Arsenal is via a set piece of some sort, or penalty. McClean is a decent lad, but his game is highly predictable and easily scouted. He won't have Mertesacker tripping over imaginary grass goblins next meeting I'm sure. Choose wisely.

      Well there's no Ade deal yet so I'd take him out until something goes through. Freidel is probably easiest spurs defence to fit in. United midfield is minefield at the moment, Tony V and nani are only 2 id consider for wk1.

      The midfield and defence post your Cole transfer scares me

      You gotta ask yourself if Aguero will score 50 pts more than Tevez, but then also account for the upgrades you could make with that cash elsewhere

      for example - would rather have BAE + Siggy + Tevez ($24.5)
      than Cuellar + Nasri + Aguero ($24.5)

      So while Aguero might net you 50 more pts than tevez, the added benefit of a BAE over a Cuellar should sway the decision

          But he never has been before (as a fantasy prospect not as an actual player).
          Everton also scored a LOT of goals for them over that period - which if they keep it up he'd be a great pick but I'm not sure they will.

        I plan on transferring Torres out at the end of GW1 I don't think it would be worth taking the hit to transfer a Chelsea mid out as Bale for me is absolutely essential for GW2-GW5

      Which Jones is this Phil Jones?. Lampard better options available he will be playing a deeper role so you'll be relying on him for penalties look to upgrade to Mata. Upgrade Van der Vaart to Bale possibilty of Van der Vaart rotating with Siggy.

          Yeah, Phil Jones. I really like Van Der Vaart, scores goals, gets assists, takes penalties etc... think he'll be more likely to get more minutes now that Saggy Face has gone (kept taking him off early last season).

          Point taken over Lampard, I've actually got 0.5m left over so could upgrade to Mata. Will definitely consider it, cheers.

        Why do you rate Mata so low?

        Lamps is a rotation threat and playing deep, Ramires has a friendly abroad 3 days before the League kicks off (and is an unspectacular fantasy option to say the least).

        Mata is out of the Olympics 2.5 weeks early, is Chelsea's best player, and who's got set pieces in his locker. He's in my team before any of the rest of them

          Well honestly its a crapshoot with the chelsea midfield. I'll reserve judgement til the community shield. However in my opinion Fat Frank will start and play 120min+ wk1. I can't wait to see Hazard play and I'm sure he'll start the first game at least. Ramires is the fittest man alive so if theres any possible way he can play, he will. Mata will be sacrificed imo to show off the new signings, he's been to 2 tournaments this summer, granted he played very little. I like Mata but i think he's my 3rd or 4th choice for the start of the season.

    My AVB alarm bells ring louder. Bale up front, a position he will not play this season. Slow, unbalanced looking. Its past the stage of using friendlies to get fit, its about getting your side working together. Siggy has been awful, Lennon likewise. Not impressive so far.

        My major problem with that, is why play one of the best left sided attacking options around out of position. Put a specialist cm in there, thats what they are for.

        played a couple of games through the middle last year. dont really see the point of it, he's lethal on the wing and the have VDV and siggy now to play in the hole. can't see him playing there when the season starts

          It wouldn't surprise me if Spurs play a narrow 4-2-3-1 with 3 attacking mids (Bale, Siggy, VDV) and no out and out wingers. This enables the fullbacks to be the ones to provide width.

      We don't have any strikers yet. Defoe had to return home, Kane just played 90 mins vs. Liverpool and VdV is injured (shock). Won't be the case in a couple of weeks time.

      That's a lot of faith in Torres! Adebayor's future is unsure and Pog - I'm still not convinced. Richards is not a guaranteed starter, nor is Cahill (or even Rafael). Mids and keepers look alright tho.

      Carrick, Song and Meireles out, none are fantasy material.

      Also get rid of Ferdy & Per, they're both a tad old/sluggish now.

        Song was top 20 overall with 13 assists and 1 goal last season. At 6.5 he for sure is fantasy material imo.

          All pending on RVP though, most of Song's returns are reliant on van Persie finishing of his through balls.

      If he stays in the premier league i fully expect him to get injured again can't see him going to united at city rotation galore. I am surprised Chelsea haven't bid for him they need him more than the other 2.

      To be honest, wherever he is at the start of the season I won't be having him.

      Arsenal = shit fixtures
      Man Utd = prefer Rooney
      Man City = prefer Aguero.
