As promised, our Sky Sports Stats tables are now live and available in our Members Area. These new tables can be found under Player Stats, with the additional button giving access to tables that list the key stats that govern the Sky Sports Fantasy Football bonus points.

For those who haven’t noticed the rule change in the Sky Sports game, players now earn 2 points for achieving 60+ successful passes in a match, with a further 2 points awarded for players winning four or more tackles. The game will use Opta data to award these bonus points.

In our stats tables you can view Successful Passes and Tackles Won for last season’s players and we’ve added tables that record the number of bonus points players would have been awarded based on this data. We’ve broken these down into passes and tackles, added an overall bonus total column and included a minutes per bonus stat so you can assess players according to time played.

As with all our stats, you can filter these by a series of intervals, including last four matches, last four Gameweeks and Home and Away matches.

Of course, we’ll be running these tables next season so you’ll be able to apply these filters to the stats as things progress to spot those players taking advantage of the new bonus rules.

Right now, this data is not available in the Sky Sports Fantasy Football game or anywhere else – only our members have access to these stats.

We’ll be following this up with a full in-depth article for members, analysing the trends that these tables reveal and identifying the likely targets, in terms of bonus points, for the coming season.

If you’re yet to register for the Sky Sports game, you can do so here. Please note, the game is only available to those in the UK and Ireland.

The overall winner of the Sky Sports Fantasy game gets £25,000. Our league is entitled FFScout and our PIN code is 8004519: we have a home cinema system worth £600 up for grabs for the winner.

If you want access to these new stats and want details on becoming a member, click here for instructions on signing up and more details on what’s on offer.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

His goalscoring record isn't great - nor are his assists. The only reason why I could see potential in Cazorla is that he takes set pieces - but if RVP stays then that becomes less likely. It depends on where he'll be played too - it appears most likely he'll play the role Rosicky did at the back end of last season. There are surely safer options available

Yep - but surely there are better options available. 8.5 mill for Cazorla seems incredibly over-priced - this may sound ridiculous but whilst I think he'll be heavily involved for us I cannot see how you could justify his selection - Sinclair will score more points than Cazorla this season and he's at least 1mil cheaper

Carzola will probably get more goals without RVP
but will probably get more assists with RVP

I had Tierney last season and I thought I was being really clever. He was £3.9m and had been injured for almost the whole season. But the games he did play, he got quite a lot of assists. FPL said he was returning from injury 'next week' so I got him. The next week it said he was coming back 'next week' and so on until the end of the season and he never played for me.

Long way of saying - he's quite attacking and if I hadn't been so badly burned I'd probably get him this year. But make sure he really is fit 🙂

    Foster
    Baines / Vidic / Hangeland
Mata / Sessegnon / Pienaar / El Ghanassy
    Torres / Tevez / Bent

    Mignolet / Guthrie / Clyne / Tierney

    - 2.0m in the bank for possible upgrade of Torres to Aguero/Rooney
    - Mata will become Bale
    - A fairly expensive defence but I feel this strategy will do well
    - El Ghanassy is my punt for the season opener and feel he may do well this season

Any thoughts on my team please?

Top team imo, I would just do Terry for Vidic. Vidic is nowhere near full fitness, and could potentially be benched when CL starts/Evans-Jones are back.
I would also downgrade the keepers to a 9/9.5 combo, and upgrade one defender (Clyne to Cuellar for ex).
Finally, if you bench Guthrie GW1, get rid and consider El Ahmedi or Puncheon (Puncheon should be OOP).

West Ham got more clean sheets away than at home last season. They are not a good team to rotate home/away IMO. Everton also get their fair share of away cleansheets. If you have Howard id be inclined to pick he each week bar super tough fixtures.

This, is true Jack. I'm taking the stance this year, that I'm not even going to worry about keeper rotations. If I hve a shitty fixture I'm plying Al Habsi ( or Vorm, or Howard...whoever your main man is). To me that is the only way I can reap the big peno saves he's been known for.

Or yap on about FFP. Or go on about how he is a media genius; when the front office gets MEN to run shake the tree stories that will never get him to leave camp in Germany. Somebody is worried. I don't blame him though, some teams can't be allowed to have a smooth transitions into the season. At this point my valuation of RVP would have been 15mil higher for Manchester teams than Italian. They knew they were never gonna get Moura, they just used the double swoop to hid the fact that their money was short, which everyone could see with simple math. Bidding against PSG gets you the hot urine treatment.

Transfer News Update (Courtesy of Transfer News Central, Fresh football, Sport.es & others)-

    - News from Italian TV channel SportsMediaSat has claimed that De Laurentiis will sell Cavani. Negotiations have begun with Chelsea

    - Zenit St Petersburg have made a £40mil + Centre Back Bruno Alves for Porto winger Hulk. 😯

-Barcelona Winger/Forward Cristian Tello maybe loaned to Liverpool or transferred to Athletico Madrid.

    - Liverpool have emerged as front-runners to sign Real Madrid midfielder Nuri Sahin ahead of Premier League rivals Spurs and Arsenal.

-Athletic Bilbao striker, Fernando Llorente has reportedly agreed to personal terms with Seria A champions, Juventus, just days after requesting a transfer from Athletic Bilbao.

-Alex Song has told his friends that he wants to move to Barcelona. Wenger is furious on this matter (And so is Doos 😛 ). Also, Reports from France suggest Arsenal have agreed a fee with Rennes for M’Vila indicating Song could go to Barcelona.

M'Vila as a replacement for Song I would be very happy with. 3 years younger and Song went forward far to often last season considering the fact he was our only real 'defensive' midfielder, at least from what I have seen of M'Vila he will help with our defense.

Let’s get straight to the point. The team:

    Jasskelainen – Begovic

    Koscielny – A Cole – Fabio – Hangeland – Clyne

    Siggy – Hazard – Ireland – Noble – Pienaar

    Torres – Aguero – Bent

Rate the team as it is and suggest which players to swap to get Cazorla in.

Cisse took a good 4 weeks to settle. That isn't long in the grand scheme of things but if Cazorla takes that long, it's 4 weeks of points from a similarly priced reliable asset that you're missing out on.

Don't mind that at all. Decent balance. N'Zogbia seems to have come into fashion lately but probably a fair, calculated punt. I can see the appeal of Vidic too. United are a different outfit with him in the team. I went for DDG mainly because he's playing in front of him. Pog is a massive punt but not much to lose in terms of cash, only the thought of him getting splinters on your bench most of the season. I also think Mata will start. RDM is just managing him carefully and knows he needs him.
