As promised, our Sky Sports Stats tables are now live and available in our Members Area. These new tables can be found under Player Stats, with the additional button giving access to tables that list the key stats that govern the Sky Sports Fantasy Football bonus points.

For those who haven’t noticed the rule change in the Sky Sports game, players now earn 2 points for achieving 60+ successful passes in a match, with a further 2 points awarded for players winning four or more tackles. The game will use Opta data to award these bonus points.

In our stats tables you can view Successful Passes and Tackles Won for last seasonโ€™s players and weโ€™ve added tables that record the number of bonus points players would have been awarded based on this data. Weโ€™ve broken these down into passes and tackles, added an overall bonus total column and included a minutes per bonus stat so you can assess players according to time played.

As with all our stats, you can filter these by a series of intervals, including last four matches, last four Gameweeks and Home and Away matches.

Of course, weโ€™ll be running these tables next season so youโ€™ll be able to apply these filters to the stats as things progress to spot those players taking advantage of the new bonus rules.

Right now, this data is not available in the Sky Sports Fantasy Football game or anywhere else โ€“ only our members have access to these stats.

Weโ€™ll be following this up with a full in-depth article for members, analysing the trends that these tables reveal and identifying the likely targets, in terms of bonus points, for the coming season.

If youโ€™re yet to register for the Sky Sports game, you can do so here. Please note, the game is only available to those in the UK and Ireland.

The overall winner of the Sky Sports Fantasy game gets ยฃ25,000. Our league is entitled FFScout and our PIN code is 8004519: we have a home cinema system worth ยฃ600 up for grabs for the winner.

If you want access to these new stats and want details on becoming a member, click here for instructions on signing up and more details on whatโ€™s on offer.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

I suggest you get Coloccini at the start to save your self a transfer incase, I agree Spurs fixtures are tempting, but I'll be covering them via Fridel. Not worried going without City defenders?

Also Mata > Lamps/Hazard. I love the man, but he wont start the season.

If there was no Dawson news near the deadline i was going to get rid, and if Mata doesn't play in the CS i will pick Lampard/Hazard. And i don't believe in 'defensive coverage'. A CS is CS in my eyes, it doesn't matter where you get it. Thanks for your advice ๐Ÿ™‚

      8.5/10

Don't like your keepers despite the fact they rotate OK and unsure on the Terry situation with FA hearing (may need to be replaced).

That being said think you have one of the better front 8 in term of balance I have seen. If you could find the extra 1 mil to get Petric or Graham that would be a top notch attacking 8.

      7/10

      -1 for Hangeland over Hughes
      -1 for Pog
      -1 for McClean

But that's just my preferences. Obviously Mata and Dawson may be rotation concerns depending on how things go.

Hangeland will get a lot more gametime than Hughes imo, and has additional threat. Worth the 0.5m. I'm not expecting any Pog love, but i think he will do well, and he improves the balance of my team. And i think McClean will be fantastic. Thanks for your input ๐Ÿ™‚

Yeah i assumed it was Hangeland's goal threat that motivated your choice. I just haven't been able to convince myself it will be worth the extra 0.5, which i need elsewhere :P.

Pog had me sold at the beginning of the pre-season (since his move really), and i might even switch back to him before the kick off, if i need the extra 1.0 in my mid ๐Ÿ™‚

I think sunderland is a real toss up for who will get the points, I think McClean/Larsson are the better picks though because Sess is a little overpriced IMO.

So ja, i understand your choices. GL with them, (if you stick with them ๐Ÿ˜› )

If your plan is to get Baines then Pienaar+Baines could be a bit much Everton, particularly for the start of the season.

Gives you room for one of Michu or Graham for some of Swansea's easy fixtures at least.

Pearce and Mariappa will start in my opinion. Pearce being the player of the year last season and Mariappa appears too expensive a signing to leave on the bench.

As for Robson-Kanu he has potential if he plays but he's fighting with McCleary for a starting berth in Kebe's absence. HRK has had a better pre-season but McCleary is a new signing so might be straight in. I'd play safe with Guthers.

Wished he never left, Torres + Suarez could've been the best partnership in the world. Instead we have a donkey.

Just stop, please. You don't really believe in loyalty, do you?

Do teams/clubs show loyalty to players who aren't useful to them anymore? There isn't - and I believe there shouldn't be - loyalty in professional sport.

That doesn't mean Torres should have left, mind you. Obviously, he should have stayed.

There are loyal players such as Scholes and Gerrard and there are loyal managers such as Moyes and Fergie. But what I'm saying is these new-young players eye money over the love for football so their agents just find a club with crazy wage pay.

๐Ÿ™„ OK, believe in loyalty if you wish.

But if you don't think there are other reasons why SAF and Moyes have stayed, why Scholes stayed, and - my god - do you think Gerrard has always been loyal to 'Pool?

When money is involved, loyalty goes.

I agree loyalty is somewhat idealistic, and sure if you start at a lowly club and are above their quality, then i don't expect the player to stay but sometimes players and managers do show the loyalty that i respect.

Should I be loyal to the company I work for if somebody offers to triple my wages? I know it's not completely the same, but these guys work harder than you can imagine to reach these kind of levels of football and have a short career to make their living. Like King Eric said there is no place for loyalty in professional sports.

The days of strike partnerships is dead....for now. There is no reason why Torres can't start scoring goals like this again, you don't forget how to score goals like he does it's something he was born with.

He has no confidence at Chelsea. The system they play revovled around Drogba and now it'll revolve around their highly rated midfield. Torres was treated quite well at Pool and would've benefited from partnering Suarez. I think strike partnerships are slowly fading but they are still some dangerous ones like Rvp and Rooney ๐Ÿ˜‰

It's nothing to do with confidence, you got it right by saying it's the system. And I don't know what you are talking about saying "now it’ll revolve around their highly rated midfield"? They have faded but they will come back, I hope, it's just the way the game has evolved.

I think the dynamic has changed more than died, most top teams aren't opting for 4-4-2 formations anymore but more solitary strikers with support in behind them and some flanking cover. In some cases the dynamic is just that of a more vertical strike partnership, like Aguero/Tevez, or Rooney/Chico.

Of course the 4-3-3 that Rodgers seems to favour is more a case of midfield and wing support for a lone striker.

I'm being ridiculous and assuming he's going to United. The first point people will bring up is that he has Rooney to contend with for points but I reckon Rooney will play deeper with RVP playing ahead. If the situation is different and he goes to City or stays at Arsenal then I may get Rooney in instead and upgrade elsewhere

He was very good, a lot of it is our perception that he is "lazy" and he was the fault of Arsenal conceding goals. When really that is down to the poor quality and organisation of the back 4 Arsenal have had for the majority of the time he was there. Brilliant character too.

I think I'll post this every night about this time because I get good and varied replies.

    Aguero, Torres, Tevez.
    Bale, Valencia, Yaya Toure

I have all of these..the rest is pretty rubbish apart from Migs/ Foster (which I love) and a 6.5 defender.

It just feels exciting to go all out at the start and if it all goes wrong..1 or 2 point hits early on don't bother me, especially when there's price rises to be made while all the casuals are still playing.

    Dempsey kagawa yaya (Ireland Maloney)

    Aguero Torres Graham

I don't want my team full of risks. Ireland and Torres is enough. If I start adding michu and petric I've then got half the team shooting blanks. Ddg is cheaper...with reason. Only company nailed on at citeh ATM so waiting till window slams shut before jigging those around.

Sure, but I think - FPL-wise - his opportunities may decrease/others may increase with a change in position.

Again, I said 'concern' ... not 'wrong'. He could be a fine pick, especially if Silva looks not-quite-ready to start the season.

Yaya will go back to defensive play i think, he is too important there. Kagawa was a dead set for me today, not i worry about his gametime. Read my other post/comment.

Dempsey is out of favour with fulham it seems. Bale would even be better for gw1 i think.

I think Lescott is as nailed on at city as ferdi is United.

My issue is your team is too risky, Kagawa is a risk imo. As much as i like them.

3 Chelsea when each cept Torres may only play 1g in dgw. Too risky for week1.

I assume Cahill is only in there if Terry gets banned? Really like the Rio pick, I think he'll play first 3 or 4 or 5 no prob, before being rotated.

I think it's been blown WAY out of proportion, the whole weight thing. Yes he seems to be bigger than he was but he's a professional athlete so there's no doubt he will be in full fitness for the start of the season.

haha, he did look a little chubby! I think it's got a fair bit of attention in the media so I doubt if it's gone unnoticed by the United backroom staff.

Doubling up on City defence and doubling up on Utd attack. It should be the other way round. City will score more and United will concede least. Or to get consistent points, balance it out so you have 1 City def, 1 Utd def, 1 City striker, 1 Utd striker.

Aguero. Ballo and Dzeko are shit compared to Aguero. Also they will likely only get gametime when city are pre-occupied with UCL or Tevez is rotated (or goes on holiday).

3 wins is a lot on the Premier League, and it also assumes they manage to win 15 game again.... Personally I don't think they are capable of top 6.
