This afternoon, we have updated our Pre-Season Guide tab on the home page for Fantasy managers looking for some last-minute research ahead of Saturday’s kick-off:

Included are links to every pre-season game that has taken place, all our Scout Reports and Moving Target articles over the summer and extensive articles on each of the three promoted sides. In addition, we’ve added a brief “Scout Notes” synopsis of the main areas of concern for all 20 teams.

Below, we’ve listed the men in form in front of goal over the summer so far – nice to see Mauro Boselli in there, tempting us all with his pre-season goals once again..

    Looking at the updated pre-season am I mad for thinking SWP is as good a bet as Taarabt? Doesn't seem like Adel will start in a 4-4-2 whereas SWP should either way.

        Funny how *some* Muslim players are a concern with Ramadan, while others aren't. Say, for example, Yaya Toure, Ben Arfa, Fellaini, Taarabt, etc.

      Hangeland is a beast. Newcastle defence might be a bit iffy for a while with Tiote out but still 2nd. Then Williams.

      best to give him a few weeks, he won't be match fit or settled in and even last year he took a few to get going. with the chelsea double and city firing can't justify the outlay to start with.

    If they were both the same price would the people considering Tevez at the moment instead still be considering it? At the moment I have Tevez in my team and have 2.5m spare from the downgrade but I honestly can't see where I want to upgrade...

      +1 No but the reason I'm picking Tevez IS the price. Lets say Aguero scores 180 points and Tevez scores 150 points. You need to ask whether the 2.5mil difference can make up those 30 points elsewhere.

    Seeing as the chat on the Laudrup page is finished a repost...Has anyone given any thought to Cleverley….seemed decent last time around before he got injured. I also reckon if Sterling can break into the Liverpool midfield he could be a great fpl asset. Question: Who is more nailed on Mariappa or Gorkss? From what I understand Mariappa goes forward quite a bit…can anyone confirm?
