We may have suffered inauspicious starts to the season but there’s no denying it, we just love Fantasy Football.

For all his grumpiness and bile, Granville’s enthusiasm spills over as we both dive into the hot topics of the week: Juan Mata’s decline, Eden Hazard’s rise, the Rooney vs Van Persie question, whether Granville is the dopey one.

All these issues and more are addressed in the next 38-minutes, along with the return of All Aboard, the weekend preview and the first decisions to be made with the ailing ScoutCast XI. It’s my turn to play Pat Rice to Granville’s Arsene Wenger this week and, to script, I prove to be more of a hindrance than a help.

        Personally i see Torres to Adebyour as a much easier and better fit , than trying to shoehorn Van Persie in

              Definitely not worth a risk on Ade this week. He hasn't played a minute of football since May? Very unlikely him and Defoe will play together. AVB has rarely moved from 4-2-3-1 and neither of this can play another role.

          I actually have the money available to do Torres to RVP.

          But think that Torres > Adebayor

          plus

          Clark/Fabio > Baines

          is the better option overall. I'm still considering though......

          Nice team, very similar to mine.

          Bale (c) over Kagawa IMO, especially since you would need Kagawa to outscore Bale by 3+ points and Taarabt to do nothing to make up for your hit.

          Maybe wait til next week when the situation with the United attack is clearer.

          Interesting this. I am considering Kagawa as mu United cover. A front 3 of Tevez, Podolski, Adebayor is just too good value for me to consider RVP/Roon (I think) . All 3 are likely to be on pens too for the moment. Podolski clearly a bit risky but £8.5m for the main Arsenal striker is super value.

            I agree, long-term. But with Ade unlikely to start the next two, I'd say, RVP will be coming in for me for FUL, sot, WIG, then downgrade him for the better value top strikers. Unless he shows some ridiculous form.

        Should I do Torres->Tevez for a 4 pt hit?

        Arguments for:
        1) Torres is rubbish and we can't expect him to get 1 yard, offside tap ins every game.
        2) If I don't take a 4 pt hit and get Tevez this week and I'll probably do one next week anyroad to get a decent team for GW3.
        3) Tevez is on his way up, up, up and although I've missed out on 0.2 I'll not miss out on any more.

        Arguments against:
        1) If we get down and dirty with expected points for next gameweek then Torres + 4 > Tevez, given he has an easier fixture.
