I'm currently contemplating using the wildcard, partly to try and generate a bit more value, and partly because I have neither RVP or Tevez, and it's starting to sting! I made a pretty good start, but this week has hindered me some what and I'm on 205 points so far.
Currently got a team of:
Federici, DDG
Cashley, Baines, Hangeland, Demel, Hooiveld
Hazard, Kagawa, Yaya, Michu, Howson
Torres, Graham, Defoe (...yeah, I know, a very stupid punt as opposed to picking Tevez to replace Aguero)
with £1.3 million in the bank and no transfers made this week.
Just wondering would people, stick or twist on the wildcard?

You could probably squeeze RVP and Tevez in by using only 3 transfers. Wildcard is worth more than 8 points surely.

It's 4 transfers really. RVP and Tevez = £23 mil currently, Torres and Defoe = £17.5 mil.
Need a way to make up the £5.5 million, and that's probably going to take two transfers...so a 12 point hit.

Yeah, it's a bit of a headache. If I'd just got Tevez in for Aguero after GW1 I don't think I'd be considering it really. But I think that him and RVP are going to continue to rack up some massive scores.

I can tell you he should have had at least 2 assists v sunderland and at least 1 assist v stoke but the finishing was poor

we cant really count on should haves and would haves. The team is going to stay the same, the level of finishing is never going to dramatically change. If the team converts 1 in 4 chances, then he gets the points 1 in 4 times. Nothing will change that.
