Yesterday, we rolled out the first in a two-part series of Members articles focussing on team stats over the first three Gameweeks so far. Having assessed the performances from an attacking perspective, we turn our attentions to the men at the back, analysing a variety of key performance statistics from a defensive point of view:
JK, the defensive situation is a little unclear. There have been injuries and new signings so I'm not quite sure what the first choice defence is now. I was not paying too much attention to Milan news over the summer so I'm not as clued up as I should be. Abbiati is the safe pick as he is nailed on but the CS prospects aren't great without Silva.
From the 2 league games so far Boateng seems the best midfield option from a fantasy perspective. I wouldn't pick Monty but Nocerino is an option. If you want a striker, Pazzini is likely to be scoring most of the goals though I may have a cheeky punt on SES.Open Controls

I don't now if its relevant to your team. But I had something similar and changed Pirlo in order to get Vidal in. Similar attacking threat as OOP and 1.5m cheaper.
Also, are you going to completely ignore Real because of their group?
Also have a look at Sammir of Zagreb. Very big attacing threat. And not overly difficult group
