Signed in the transfer window, both Steven Fletcher and Dimitar Berbatov have wasted little time in acclimatising at their new clubs, turning the heads of Fantasy managers.

Placed snugly in the mid-price bracket, they both look to offer strong solutions to the third striker slot in our squads with other places reserved for expensive heavy-hitters. In that scenario, many Fantasy managers have been forced to choose from these two players – both take form, decent fixtures and almost identical price tags into the coming months.

In this latest article for our Members, we look beyond the goals and points notched so far, exploring the numbers behind their performances in an attempt to offer a solution to this particular selection dilemma.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Anyone tempted by Aaron Lennon, looks a fair differential and looks likely to play almost every match this season.

This has been the on going topic over the past few days. It depends if the rest of your team is going to accumulate enough points for it not to hurt you should RVP get a 15 point+ game.

I'd be comfortable captaining the main United forward in the home games. Their next 3 home games are Tottenham, Stoke and Arsenal and I can see them getting 9 points from those games.

Depends if you think his points return will drop when Rooney returns, and if he'll get rotated. I don't think fixtures matter a lot for someone like RVP and I hope he doesn't get rotated as there's some big games coming up for United.

          Play Hangeland, Zab and Demel

I took a 4 point hit for a defender a couple of GWs ago but it was Baines, who is about the only defender worth taking a hit for.

If you can play 3 don't take the hit, the chances of making it back are very slim.

I have Baines and Michu and playing them both. Think of it this way. If Swansea do score (which they likely will at home) Michu is the man most likely to get it. How would you feel if your Baines CS was lost and the guy who stole it was on your bench. How have you got 2 captains?

            I really would bench Kaca.

      Thanks Demi.
If Adkins makes the same substitute decisions he did against Man U, he deserves to go and fast.

Top five of the current list and with five and a half hours to go maybe Gibbs to go up.
Last two nights have seen players on or above 97% fall.

    Hope this helps with decisions.

They've all been falling over all night.

I guess because it's European games everyone thinks it's compulsory to fall over if you get caught in a stiff breeze.

Agree with previous comments that bale might not be worthwhile, consequently:

Gw5 - Foster -> Jussi (double up WHM)
Gw6 - Cuellar and Lambert -> Davies and Berbs (-4)

How does that sound. Need to sort this as I'm off tomorrow.

    Thanks again all!

I wouldn't get Berbatov that week as he plays City. Definitely not for a hit. And I wouldn't be in any rush to sell Foster, the Baggies look decent at the back.

Bale playing but that's going to leave a huge mark, long rip and scar.

So reading the posts, seems a lot of people are looking to West Brom to solve the captaincy issues this week with me included 😉
