next question then. bring in demel or nelsen? i already have mccartney but he seemingly cant get on the pitch these days
Open Controls-
Nelsen U think QPR team will start to click and have decent fixtures for the next while.
Open Controls -
the only thing is nelsen's pitch time. i'd be really concerned to have potentially 2 non starters each week forcing gorkss onto the team each week
Open Controls-
nelsen will be fine...looks like bosingwa is injured so he will get his min. I wanted to get nelsen this week but its unnecessary so will be doing it in the next 2

Another green arrow despite more bad luck with transfers and poor captain choices.
I suppose that is the sign of a good team, getting results while playing crap. 🙂
Lescott out Baines in same points scored this week! Then I made Hazard captain but Chelsea decided to play all their attacking midfielders in the same area of the pitch.
My team is so far surviving on its solid defence and 100% west/ham/chelsea goalkeeper rotation (so far).
Still raging that the very time I go for form over fixtures, instead of my usual fixtures only: Bale outscores Cazorla 21 v 12 in two weeks...and gets 3 point bonus twice.
Roll on gw6 Bobby Z and Lambert.Open Controls -
37 in the Early Bird League so far. A few will be getting knocked out this week.
Open Controls-
What is this league again?
Open Controls
-
Love to be proved wrong, but this GW looks like a rather low scoring one. None of the fixtures massively stand out for goals or clean sheets, a definite tricky gameweek.
Begovic (SWA)
Baines (SOU) Demel (qpr) Rangel (stk)
Hazard (ars) Pienaar (SOU) Barfa (rdg) Michu (stk)
RVP (TOT) Tevez (ful) Berbatov (MCI)
Subs: Foster (avl), Sterling (nor) Boyce (sun) Cuellar (WIG)
1 FT 0.8 in bank.
Any transfers or team selection decisions stick out?Open Controls-
can see everton and newcastle players doing well this week
Open Controls-
Agreed, but well enough for me to risk removing any mids/Tevez?
Open Controls
-
-
Play Cuellar if he's in any sort of shape to start by the weekend. I'd mull over Sterling/Michu to start.
Open Controls -
I think I would just sit on the transfer. I agree that none of the fixtures look particularly kind except for maybe Everton so I would ride it out and have maximum flexibility for week 7
Open Controls -
I would start Sterling instead of Michu next week. I have Michu and I am benching him.
The only problem with that team in the long term is Rangel and (believe it or not ) Hazard.
No need for transfers this week.Open Controls -
Play Sterling over Michu
Open Controls-
Really? I definitely would not, even if I do think Stoke are solid. So greedy and dangerous, Michu
Open Controls-
Definitely, no question about it in my mind. That Swansea game will be 1-0 or 2-0 to Stoke. That lummox Walters will probably even score.
Open Controls
-
-
I really do want to play Sterling but over Swansea's main goal threat is unpalatable for me. I'm honestly seriously tempted to play him over Hazard but I know price wise that's mad. If Tevez gets reduced gametime again I'd play Sterling over him
Open Controls

Captain RVP. Utd have won more points v Spurs in the PL than any team has won from any other team.
Open Controls-
Already captained 😉
Open Controls-
i'm thinking about a cheeky punt on baines myself! shame i didn't take it this week. accidently left the armband on hazard when my other armband candidate was hba... 🙁
Open Controls-
Would have been good. I briefly considered Baines (C) this week but couldn't get "away to swansea" out of my head. Did sell Graham and bench Rangel though.
I expect Rangel to do better with Chico back and hopefully a more settled defence.Open Controls-
i was strongly considering it, if not i wouldda gone hba like i said but someone forgot to change off of hazard. see everyone thought they'd do poorly away to swansea but i had a feeling they'd keep a cleanie and score a couple, probably with baines involved
Open Controls-
The clincher for me was finding out like half the Swansea team were injury doubts.
Open Controls

Looks good, just need to sort the defense imo with Boyce and Rangel not getting too many points for that value.
I think it's gonna be a low-scoring one myself, though the next two are gonna be big ones.Open Controls-
lol @ Boyce
Open Controls-
Haha I was waiting for this 😆
Not like we're exactly swimming in CS right now though 😉
I am tempted by Boce > Rafael, if I know SAF won't screw me up.Open Controls-
Baines-Rafael-G.Johnson is gonna be my super attacking back 3 for the foreseeable future i think.
... 5m for a Wigan defender, how did you ever fall for it? 🙂Open Controls-
Actually went to the Wigan-Fulham game this week and the problem became apparent to me. Sure, Boyce was playing high up the pitch, but he wasn't crossing the ball. Both wingbacks were playing short passes on the edge of the area without much penetration. Exacerbated by Wigan's finishing being awful. In truth Wigan played better and dominated midfield, but the attacking points just weren't gonna happen and that's why I got Boyce - I was hoping he would be a Beausejour like cross machine, when in fact both seem to have stopped crossing.
I got him for the long run so I'm willing to wait on him, but if Rafael really is nailed on he is a better option!Open Controls

was thinking cuellar - baines
hazard - hbaOpen Controls -
jaask, fed
baines, hangeland, boyce, cueller, fabio
hazard, hba, pienaar, michu, marveaux
rvp, tevez, graham
1.7 in the bank and 1ft but thinking about taking a hit
any suggestions? was thinking of getting rid of fabio and grahamOpen Controls-
Just get rid of Graham, taking hits for defenders is such a bad idea. You have 3 that can play so no need.
Open Controls-
but hangeland is home to city. and right now it's looking like cueller and fabio wont play and marveaux probably wont play either so if anyone is hurt/benched/rested then i'll be forced to play with 10, and i've been wanting to get rid of fabio anyways
Open Controls

I'd go Graham to Ba, the only problem then is picking a 4.5 defender...
Open Controls-
Not a huge amount of choice unless you want to double on Fulham with Hughes. Barnett offers some hope of a CS and money in the bank. Clyne may well be so attacking you cam get some points out of him.

My midfield: Kacaniklic (Man City)(H) / Michu (Stoke)(A) / Valencia (Tottenham)(H) / Guthrie (Newcastle)(H) / Santi Cazorla (Chelsea)(H).
I wanna bring Fellaini on. But don't know which one i have to replaced?
Last game:
Valencia an assist
Santi an assist
Michu: None
Guthrie: None
Kacaniklic: None
If Guthrie/Kaca --> Fellaini i need to get 4 hit to get money (get rid Tevez)
If Valencia --> Fellaini Valencia played at home but bad fixtures in the next few games
If Michu --> Michu has a lot of good fixtures and has bigger chance to score than any midfield that i have now.
What should i do to bring Fellaini?, im sure Fellaini will get more than 2 points this week, they also have some good fixturesOpen Controls-
Valencia -> Fellaini. Looking poor atm, Tony is.
Open Controls-
i was planning to do that but after the pace that he showed in liverpool game he could give an assist in the next game in old trafford. Thanks for the suggestion , im keep thinking about this until i forgot Fellaini's up price
Open Controls-
I think he was poor all game today. Glen Johnson had him pretty much in his pocket, he just got a free pen from the ref, which came from a huge error by Agger at the half way line. He`s still nailed on, but i dont fancy him. Id def sell him for Fellaini if it meant no hit elsewhere

I know it's very early, but Lambert (eve) or Bale (mun) to start? Also Hughes (MCI) or Rangel (stk)?
Open Controls-
Tough one, but Lambert for me basically just because i own him :p He`s on pens though and Spurs generally struggle alot against United and even more so away
Open Controls-
Yeah was thinking that, but I have Baines and Howard so a lot riding on that Everton cleanie for me!

Dembele > Fellaini
DONE
Contemplating a hit to get rid of Federici to save the .1 (Most likely Begovic or McCarthy)
I usually would let him sit there but by the time I get around to getting rid it could be 3/4 weeks, I could lose .3/.4 at that stage.
What ye reckon?Open Controls-
Definitively not! Its not worth -4 for 0.1 when youre not going to play him either way. He`ll be back soon anyways i think
Open Controls-
I agree but as I said it could be weeks before I get the chance to do it for free, I don't know if he will get his place back soon. His girlfriend spouted a load of shite on twitter about the gaffer, he could get a long sit down for that as well as his injury.
Open Controls-
In all honesty he has been piss poor, and the step-in goalie did well today from what i caught of the game. But GF`s tweets are hardly anything to base it on :p I still wouldn`t but its your team and your decision m8
Open Controls-
I probably won't, I hate hits and generally don't do them if a .1 loss is whats likely but I have a bad feeling onthis one. Fix your link by the way, Cheers

I have the festering lummox also and am choosing to ignore for now. His ownership is very low so am hoping the loss will only be .1

Who to get rid of for Howard,
Friedel or Federici
It looks like Federici is going to fall tonight and I hate to lose money on already injured player but 11.0M on GK's is too much and transfers will be wasted to get rid of FriedelOpen Controls -
so what are our guesses on tevez's playing time the next few weeks?
Open Controls-
Thats what im asking as well. Is he a rotation risk?
Open Controls

Vorm (Federici)
Baines Demel Ridgewell (Hangeland Tierney)
Hazard Bale Michu Maloney Noble
RVP Tevez (Graham)
0.7 in the bank.
Already did Ivanovic -> Baines
Should I
a) Ride out GW6 with that team?
b) Take a 4pt hit for Noble -> Sterling?
c) Wildcard to do a revamp and clear out the likes of Tierney, Federici, Graham and NobleOpen Controls -
I know there are a few Blackburn fans on here - have you seen the story about Kean getting sacked?
http://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/9944908.Kean_on_the_brink_at_Blackburn_Rovers/Open Controls -
Petric > Ba, Fletcher or Berbatov? 2.8 mill in bank so anyone 8.8 or under? cheers
Open Controls -
So continuing the new MIDFIELD POWERHOUSE wc wanderings, I could get this;
Jaaskelainen, Begovic
Baines, Rafael, Ridgewell, Clyne, Davies
Hazard, Bale, Santi, Silva, Ben Arfa
Berbatov, Fletcher, Lambert
And be content to pick two out of the front 3 based on fixtures.
Again, DAT MIDFIELD.Open Controls-
Too MF heavy, wouldnt be happy to bench Berba/Lambert/ or anyone of that lot any gw:(
Open Controls-
It was just from eyeing up whether to get Lambert or Fletcher in for my team and I noticed
WIG, mci, NEW, sto, AVL
eve, FUL, wha, TOT, wha
Nice rotation there.
And yeah it's midfield heavy, but which big hitting forwards can you rely up on these days, you know?
(I haven't and likely won't be pressing the WC button btw, but I do like that team on the face of it)Open Controls

I made a hit getting Rigwell and Fellaini for Less and McClean
Was a good idea?Open Controls -
I've currently got DDG and Foster, but I want to trade out DDG to get some money back in the bank. So who should I rotate Foster with?
Open Controls-

Begovic.
Open Controls

Cole out if i had to choose. Norwich next weekend is the only good fixture in a while, while City have multiple good ones coming up
Open Controls

just transfer morrison > piennar tevez> aguero
Now my front line looks like this
HBA, Hazard, Piennar , Michu
Rvp, Aguero and BerbatovOpen Controls -
Yaya to fellaini?? Yes or No??
Have tevez and baines alreadyOpen Controls -
I think a lot of us are in a good position to save a transfer this week. This is assuming we have the general template team that includes Hazard, Michu, Tevez etc. I think each of those players deserves another chance and I would expect Tevez to start next week. Is anyone else thinking of holding this week?
Open Controls-
I was before this weekend, but seeing Fellaini and Hazard play im really really tempted to make the switch and get in Fellaini.
Open Controls-
Watching fellaini last few weeks he is starting to look like a must
Open Controls
-
I was but thinking of the transfer i have listed above
Open Controls -
I have 2 frees this week and will probably be using both. Probably Hazard > Fellaini and then upgrading my defence
Open Controls -
not me as i've got graham and fabio that need to be taken care of
Open Controls-
get rid of graham finally ditched him for berb last week paid off, he is a t nothing
Open Controls
-
Hazard and Michu stay but just got rid of Tevez for Berbs. Too many good mid-price options around to keep Tevez who is competing with other top strikers for a starting spot. I think Mancini will want to do well in UCL this season because of their failure last season and has a point to prove.
The City front four will be rested and rotated regularly by Mancini. Not worth the risk when there are forwards like Defoe, Berbs, Fletcher, Lambert and Ba who are all bang in form, nailed-on to start and cheaper.Open Controls-
I am thinking the same thing actually. Eventually Tevez will have to go. However you would think that he will start against Fulham next week. Could you be selling a week too soon? Im thinking of keeping him for one more week so I have a better idea of which mid priced striker to get in. There is a lot to choose from.
Open Controls-
I personally reckon Berbs will score more this coming GW than Tevez. Fulham are always a handful at Craven Cottage and City are leaking goals.
