It’s swings and roundabouts as Marouane Fellaini is ruled out for the Toffees’ trip to QPR, while Dimitar Berbatov will make a return for Fulham as they prepare to host Villa. Alan Pardew can welcome both Fabricio Coloccini and Steven Taylor back to his defence for the Tyne-Wear derby clash…

As expected, David Silva will miss out for Man City at the Hawthorns, while on the red side of Manchester, Ashley Young returns to the mix as Sir Alex prepares for the clash with Stoke. Sam Allardyce doesn’t rate Guy Demel’s chances of making the visit of Southampton, while Arsene Wenger’s claim that Jack Wilshere needs more time is somewhat undermined by the player’s agent who reveals that he’s in the squad for the Norwich trip.

All this and more have found their way into our Team News section, which includes our view on the likely lineups for the Gameweek. As always, keep ‘em peeled for the very latest updates via our Twitter feed.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Best def for 6.3 or less?

    On WC, mostly sorted:

    Beg -4.0
    Rafael-Baines-6.3-Gorks-Fonte
    Mata-Santi-Bale-Rothledge-Sterling
    RVP-Ba-Berv

    Any suggestions?

I'd get Aaron Hughes in and maybe spend the rest on Foster or Jaask for your second keeper.

I'd scratch Fonte, get two rotating 4.5 (ie Hughes and Wilson) and upgrade your keeper.

Walters for Routledge tomorrow morning after he rises in price, again.

so you'd be starting on minus 4.

So Berbatov would have to score 4 points to break even.

And if Lambert got any points, a big ol points swing would be created.

Thats how I try and stop myself taking unnecessary hits

pretty much sold on hazard to nasri.

now just need to decide whether i should ship ba or jelly to bring in giroud (or berba?). have baines and pienaar and no other newcastle coverage, so it should be a no-brainer to drop jelly, right?

have a feeling about arsenal and city over the next few weeks, so want double attacking coverage of both (ars: santi/giroud; mcy: nasri/tevez). will be able to bring rooney in for tevez when united's fixtures ease up.

but berba is so tempting! no fulham coverage (tho perhaps none beside berba is needed) seems better than being light on arsenal as they approach the new year.

    any thoughts?

wouldn't be so hasty on shipping Hazard, remember, he's really really good and could be explosive. Also Ba is the league's top scorer, banging in the goals with great fixtures.

Personally would hold tight, and get nasri in next week for their home game if you want, plus another ft next week with no hit this week

Ivan -> Rafael allows me to upgrade Nelsen -> Olsson. Makes sense? Or should I keep me back line as Baines, Ivan, Hughes (+ rotation cheapies Gorkss and Nelsen)?

I'd keep Iva despite the tough fixtures. Really wish I had him from the start.

Rafael could get rotated now that Smalling and Jones are returning from injury.

Nice points! Plus I love Ivan's attacking threat. So I will keep that back as it is.

I would to Ivan to Rafael if I had a free transfer. Only reason I'm not is more pressing transfers/don't want hits. But moving Ivan to another heavy hitting defender is a wise move atm imo.

Does anyone know if there's a way to filter the 'make your own' stats tables in the members area by price? I want to create a table for, say, sub £6m midfielders...

Hey guys, with Fellaini out is it worth going with Morrison, Gallas or Perch (and hope he plays)?

Hello everyone, who of the following would you bench and which is the best captain option in your opinion?

    Gervinho, Nolan, Bale, Hazard, Michu

    Fletcher, Suarez, Berbatov

I m thinking of benching either Bale or Hazard since they play against each other but i m not quite sure yet. Thx for any replies.

Bench one of Gervinho Michu Fletcher. Arguments can be made for any of them but personally I'd go for Fletcher

Federici and McClean to Begovic and Nolan? Both frees. Any better options than noble 6.5 or less.
    Thanks
