Junior Hoilett
Such a bright spark in Blackburn’s relegation season, Hoilett has struggled to cement a starting role in Mark Hughes’ new look outfit. The Canadian showed up today, however, firing the R’s in front via a Leighton Baines deflection and putting in a decent shift. Hoilett, offers an option in the R’s midfield, although if you’re looking to gamble on such a punt, Adel Taarabt is cheaper and arguably more potent.

Going Down

Steven Pienaar
Everton’s playmaker was harshly dismissed for two bookable offences – the second challenge looking innocuous to say the least. Pienaar is now set to serve a one-match ban that will see him sit out the Merseyside derby in Gameweek 9.

Anton Ferdinand
Dropped to the bench with Mark Hughes electing to start Ryan Nelsen and Stephane Mbia in central defence, Ferdinand’s starting role could now be at risk. Significantly, Nelsen has started the last six league outings for the R’s and is amongst the 4.0 defenders on offer in the FPL. Nelsen was withdrawn late on with cramp.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

    it was beetwen him and Morrison yesterday ( for Mata in) and i decided to let Morrison go and stick with Michu simply cause he is OOP player now

      My hope is he gets booked next w/e and missed Capital One cup game. Michu will be Swans most attacking player whether OOP or not, so unless you can't see Swans scoring he should be kept. Plus maybe he might be on pens.

      This is a midfielder who looks like he could 15 or so league goals this season. We had a player like that last season and we considered him essential, I don't see what has changed.

      yeah I cant see the logic in getting rid of a player who has already scored 6 goals. fixtures arent great but he seems a season keeper.

    What's the thoughts on transferring in Dzeko? For the limited gametime he's had he's scoring a phenomenal amount of goals. Worth bringing him in for Fletcher, or madness? Also, Pienaar to Lennon? Got two free transfers.

      I am also getting Lennon in, worth it IMO, he has been playing great recently, it just hasn't be transformed into FPL points yet, but it will be. Dzeko is an interesting one. He may be worth a punt if he doesn't start v Ajax.

      Too risky imo. You can get Berbatov for cheaper and more minutes. I think Mancini likes to play favorites with Balotelli. I wish he would start Dzeko :'( he's in great form. Idk what he has to do to get league starts...

      I couldn't afford McAnuff, simple.

      McAnuff is an assist machine, but Kebe is more likely to score. If you can afford McAnuff, get him. I couldn't at the time, not gonna waster a transfer on it now.

      It's a Nani v Valencia situation. Bale is more explosive, Lennon more consistent. Plus I'm hoping that in 2 weeks after Spurs' next 2, Ramirez will be back. Lennon will be easier for me to sell than Bale

          Sell Pienaar IMO, as i said to Forca. Michu is a midfielder who is likely to get 15 goals this season. we had one of those last season and he was considered essential. I don't see what has changed. Plus he may now be OOP and possibly on pens

        If you're looking to get rid to bring Ramirez back, I'd really stay away from Bale, you know he has the potential to hurt you when he's in your team, or out. And Lennon looked good, being a Chelsea fan, he was the only player on field in that Spurs side who shook me up whenever he received the ball.
