Aleks Kolarov is a legend around these parts. Two seasons ago I backed the Serbian to shine, only to be left eggy faced as he City man huffed and puffed without impact. Now he’s back and this time it’s personal.

Having crashed the party with a 20-point haul in his last Etihad encounter, Kolarov is being lined up for a start this weekend and even Granville’s taking notice. Having ridiculed my affections for the player and gloried in his failings, the Mancunian has got himself a crush and he’s struggling to fight it off.

This week’s ScoutCast features a lot of Kolarlove, along with the supporting cast of regulars as Granville steals a mini-league march and starts to sound cocky.

Listen in on the Serbian swooning via this link, or stream the episode via the handy player below…

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

For me, it would depend on mini-leagues - who owns who etc - Aguero for me I reckon.

Depends how confident you are on Aguero starting. If you're certain he will, then I'd go for him.

    Thoughts about this lineup:

    ----------------Bego

    --Baines--Caulker--Kolarov

    Bale (vc)---Santi---Mata---Walters

    ---------Tevez (C)--Ba--Kone

    bench: Jussi, Ivanovic, Wilson, Sterling

Decent, I would play Wilson over Caulker and double up on Stoke, and maybe consider shoving Sterling further up the subs bench.

Yes because he's agaisnt MU and I think Baines (LIV), Kolarov (SWA), Caulker (sot) has better change for cs and almost same change to attacking points.

I have 1.3 in bank so I can get Rooney in for Tevez for gw11 by downgrading Kolarov to Gorkss.

      Hey Zep,

To most probably score 0pts would mean conceeding 4 or conceeding 2 and getting booked, i.e. very doubtful for those defenders who actually play.

You'd need the player you're bringing in to get a cleanie/assist/goal to make it a profitable move, which is probably

            Haha, ok...

...which is probably only justifiable if:

            a) you can't field 11 players
            b) the player you desperately want in becomes unaffordable next week (price rises)
            c) there is a DGW
            d) you have a crucial transfer planned for next week already

I'm guessing a), b) and c) aren't relevant here, given it's Sagna and you have Clyne, so that leaves d). My point being that you're unlikely (

Morning everyone! I've had my mind set on doing the following transfers:

McAuley + Naughton (don't ask) OUT

    Wilson + S. Taylor IN

Taylor played a full 90 last night so do we think he'll start on the weekend? Only thing holding me back at the moment.

Go Simpson, Santon or Colo over Saylor can see Williamson retaining his place unfortunately

      I rate McAuley.

      Perhaps just Naughton > Wilson?

    Snap Poll:

Kightly (EA PPI: 94; ICT: 51.1)

    or

Walters (EA PPI: 78; ICT: 65.3)

On comparison tool Walters gets the nod 51-49, but Kightly had some serious backers prior to injuries in the season he came up with Wolves, and is a full 0.9 cheaper. I'm leaning towards Kightly, but is Walters' OOP enough to tip the scales in his favor?
