Despite the playful twitter tamperings of Gary Lineker, Robin Van Persie takes his place in an unchanged and attacking United lineup for today’s early kick-off against Arsenal. The Dutchman starts, then, and wears the Fantasy armband for many as he faces his former club for the first time.

Our Dugout Discussion Chatroom is now open and available to collect all the joy and agony of this match and the day’s other six encounters, concluding with City’s visit to West Ham this evening.

The lineups from Old Trafford are predictable. Both sides remain unchanged with Sir Alex Ferguson keeping faith with Ashley Young on the flank, opting to keep Javier Hernandez in reserve, with Danny Welbeck out of the squad. As for Arsenal, they keep Theo Walcott on the leash as they put out the starting XI that struggled to break down QPR last weekend.

      Agree. I was "lucky" enough to have to keep him this week with other injuries to worry about. I don't think he will set the world on fire soon but wouldn't sell him when there are other players worth more concern.

    to whom it may concern

    so much bullsh..t here for cazorla mostly by people who started watching him or football recently. he is by far the best midfielder playing in the premier along with yaya toure imo. the problem is he plays for an arsenal team with no real scorer. had he played for man utd he would have had 10 assists and a few goals by now

    A rather bad start for me: no RvP, no Cazorla, no Rafael. But it could have gone much worse, so I guess I should be glad that there hasn't been too much damage from any of them.

        You can still love a club and have strong ties to them but see a move that is more beneficial for your career. He didn't leave Arsenal because he hates the club or the fans. He left because he wants to win trophies. Something Arsenal cannot do.

    I had Santi from Day 1. I sold him this week to fund my other planned transfers. I was unlucky with the Mata injury. Such is life. I will buy Cazorla back when I feel he will serve me best. I won't regret "missing" his points today.
