Despite the playful twitter tamperings of Gary Lineker, Robin Van Persie takes his place in an unchanged and attacking United lineup for today’s early kick-off against Arsenal. The Dutchman starts, then, and wears the Fantasy armband for many as he faces his former club for the first time.

Our Dugout Discussion Chatroom is now open and available to collect all the joy and agony of this match and the day’s other six encounters, concluding with City’s visit to West Ham this evening.

The lineups from Old Trafford are predictable. Both sides remain unchanged with Sir Alex Ferguson keeping faith with Ashley Young on the flank, opting to keep Javier Hernandez in reserve, with Danny Welbeck out of the squad. As for Arsenal, they keep Theo Walcott on the leash as they put out the starting XI that struggled to break down QPR last weekend.

Man United: De Gea, Rafael, Ferdinand, Evans, Evra, Valencia, Carrick, Cleverley, Young, Rooney, van Persie

Arsenal: Mannone, Sagna, Mertesacker, Vermaelen, Santos, Arteta, Ramsey, Wilshere, Cazorla, Podolski, Giroud

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

That quality laste Caz goal summed up the difference between real life football and fantasy football. Nothing consolation in terms of the game but big impact in terms of fpl. Ho ho ho 😀

I have 2 FT's, £0.0m in the bank and Giroud, YaYa, Jarvis, Rangel & Vorm ready to walk the plank.

Providing he's fit Ba is a no brainer (puts £0.1m in the bank as he will go down in price overnight) but what do I do with the other freebie?

No, I got him in because he's an attacking threat in a team that had a good run of fixtures. He's disappointed so far but will stay for a little while longer as both his threat and good fixtures remain. His returns over the last month have been poor, however.

Then dont cry when his cleanie is gone going all hes not worth the value and not producing. Just sell then, people that know why theyre getting him will keep for as long as hes playing regardless od the cleanie chance.

There was me thinking this was a 'discussion' forum. Wasn't aware that voicing an opinion constituted 'crying'. I've made no reference to cleansheets but rather his points returns over the past month where he has sadly not lived up to his early season pace. I hope that he puts my concerns to rest by going crazy today and consistently moving forward.

Fulham strike early against the Toffees. Dimitar Berbatov is fouled by Phil Neville 25 yards from goal and Bryan Ruiz curls the free-kick round the wall and finds the net courtesy of the post and a deflection off Tim Howard.
