Despite the playful twitter tamperings of Gary Lineker, Robin Van Persie takes his place in an unchanged and attacking United lineup for today’s early kick-off against Arsenal. The Dutchman starts, then, and wears the Fantasy armband for many as he faces his former club for the first time.

The lineups from Old Trafford are predictable. Both sides remain unchanged with Sir Alex Ferguson keeping faith with Ashley Young on the flank, opting to keep Javier Hernandez in reserve, with Danny Welbeck out of the squad. As for Arsenal, they keep Theo Walcott on the leash as they put out the starting XI that struggled to break down QPR last weekend.

      I thought so too at the time, and looked like RVP started to celebrate like he scored himself. Not enough evidence for it to be claimed imo, and if the goals committee does change it, won't it be in a few weeks?

          RVP interviewed at the end and said he should have scored two (referring to the one in the second half where Mannone pulled off a good save, I think), but he's happy with one. If he's not claiming any more then it won't be referred to replay - dubious goals may still have their say but the GW will be long over then. As an RVP owner I'd be happy with the points but I can't honestly see it happening.
