Cityโ€™s unbeaten run stretches to 10 games but their toils in front of goal continue, with a goalless draw at Upton Park. Sergio Aguero is handed a sub role yet again, while Andy Carroll draws yet another blank for the hosts:

On the Up

City Defence
This eveningโ€™s goalless draw maintained the championsโ€™ recent upturn in defensive resilience. Itโ€™s three clean sheets and just one goal conceded in the last four Gameweeks now for Roberto Manciniโ€™s men โ€“ the likes of Chelsea and United have one clean sheet apiece in the last six, by comparison.

West Ham Defence
A first clean sheet in six was just rewards for the home sideโ€™s resilient efforts. Sam Allardyce will be buoyed by his teamโ€™s ability to nullify Cityโ€™s threat but with Guy Demel still sidelined and James Tomkins missing out through injury, the Hammers boss will be hoping James Collins can shake off a knock which forced him off towards the end, given their upcoming schedule.

Going Down

Sergio Aguero
With a vital Champions League game against Ajax in midweek, Aguero was benched yet again for this eveningโ€™s trip to Upton Park. Roberto Mancini started with three of his four forwards and while the Argentine was afforded some game time late on, he has now been omitted from the City first XI in three of the past four Gameweeks – despite his obvious capabilities, Aguero has simply become far too frustrating a Fantasy option right now, with his managerโ€™s up front rotation dramatically curtailing his appeal.

Andy Carroll
His loan move to West Ham, which saw the towering centre-forward reunited with Sam Allardyce, was hailed as the perfect fit. The Hammersโ€™ tactics seemed tailor-made for Carroll, with delivery from wide guaranteed to create chances aplenty in the air but it hasnโ€™t quite transpired as Allardyce would have hoped. Another blank today means Carroll has just one assist in six appearances since making his way to Upton Park.

    But be warned, Cameron is rising tonight

    Bit of a pickle this is. If Ba drops in value tonight, and Saylor yet again doesn't start tomorrow I will have the funds to do:
    Saylor -> Rafael
    Defoe -> Ba

    But I will be 0.1 short should Ba not drop in value, and in the mean time my backup plan defender Cameron may rise in value.

    Do we expect Ba to drop in value?
    Do we expect Saylor to start tomorrow?

        All season Fellaini has been getting possession in the box. His threat level is huge, far higher than Pienaar. I watched it today and he could easily have got 4. They should never have drawn that game.

        Yet another green arrow Shirokov. You know you can't get a green arrow once you've reached no 1.

    I have 2 free transfers, no money in the bank and nothing urgent that needs doing to my team. That's not to say there aren't a few problems though. I'm thinking Jelavic to Ba is the way to go. I know Jelly has 3 good fixtures but he isn't performing. Ba is and has even better fixtures. Anyway, team is currently:

    Begovic
    Baines, Rafael, Boyce
    Mata, Bale, Cazorla, Kightly
    RVP(c), Jelly, Lambert

    Foster, Sterling, Gorkss, McAuley

    Thoughts appreciated.

      Get rid of Lambert first.

      I'm considering Baines, foolhardy as it may be. Sunderland are terrible, and he's been unlucky not to get more attacking points the last couple weeks.
