It’s been a week of uncertainty for Fantasy managers as international withdrawals saw the possibility of “phantom injuries” casting minor doubts over members of our squads for the weekend. Those doubts still linger, although we have had reassurance on some of the big names.

They don’t come much bigger than Robin Van Persie who, according to Sir Alex Ferguson, “should be fit” for United’s trip to Norwich, though Wayne Rooney and Jonny Evans remain doubts.

Arsene Wenger has plenty of injury worries, with Mikel Arteta and Olivier Giroud added to his list of doubts this morning.

Roberto Di Matteo has fewer concerns – John Terry is expected to be sidelined for around three weeks with the knee injury sustained against Liverpool last Sunday, while Frank Lampard is again unavailable due to an ongoing calf problem. Staying in West London and Mahamadou Diarra is a “big doubt” for Fulham’s home game with Sunderland, while Kieran Richardson is out for around 10 days with a hamstring problem.

QPR welcome back Fabio and Kieran Dyer to their squad, though Bobby Zamora is struggling and Ji-Sung Park remains sidelined with a knee problem.

Swansea and Newcastle both have a stack of injuries going into their clash on Saturday, although there was no mention of Demba Ba’s shin injury from Alan Pardew’s list of worries, leading us to accept that he’s available for the meet with the Swans. Michael Laudrup has a number of concerns, some of which he’s keeping to himself, although there’s a suggestion that both Leon Britton and Ashely Williams are the latest knocks to trouble the Dane’s preparations.

We’ve collected all this and squeezed it into our team news section and added our current predicted lineups for the weekend ahead. You can keep in touch with the very latest via our twitter feed as always.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

He got a bit of a kick vs. Italy and was limping a bit and wincing. But then he played on for twenty minutes and looked fine. It's probably just a bruise or something. He'll be fine.

He's too much of a gamble even if he was fit. He is definitely a huge hit or spectacular miss player. I'd feel better with someone like Suarez or Ba up front.

He's improving, perceptions change, a few weeks ago no-one felt they could trust Suarez in their team and now everyone wants him.

So you haven't watched the matches? He's been hit and miss each time he's started. I don't have nor want Suarez on my squad, I still don't trust him despite whatever the general consensus is on this site. Go with whom you will I guess, trust your gut. My gut, and experience watching my Gooners with Giroud up front (and after countless airballs, something I didn't know was possible in anything outside of basketball), tells me no.

You brought up Suarez and in your own words, Giroud is capable of being a hit. Seems to me he's getting more capable the more he settles in but you're right, I don't watch full Arsenal matches every week.

I know I did, because he'd be a better punt than Giroud lol! You know Giroud is bad if I recommended Suarez over him...I don't want either on my squad, and I don't. I agree, Giroud is very capable of being a hit, but he's also got the possibility of being a huge miss. Hopefully you bring him in on a week where he just kills it. Good luck brother ali.

Thanks. He could prove to be a waste but Arsenal coverage playing right at the tip of the team and at that price is a tempter. Sterling is my Liverpool coverage, I like to have all bases covered.

Hmm, id stick actually. Might sound crazy but Foster if he was playing would be unlikely to keep a cs. So to take a hit for a keeper who may himself.only get 2, its not worth it in my opinion. Suck up the 2pt loss this week if it was me mate.

    Two things:

    1) I had big hopes for a 20 goal season from Bent, hence his inclusion in my GW1. Sad how this turned out.

    2) Lampard still being out gives Hazard yet one more chance to score a penlaty.

I did it. Differential = gambling imo. I'm expecting 2 assists and a goal with a Silva Bandwagon and flourishing price to follow. Kept Tevez too given the international commitments for the others.

Despite RVPs "availability" does anyone else think - given the opposition - he might not play the full 90 in this one? Have a feeling Valencia might be a better punt for points this week.

It sounds like Laudrup is going to try and fit Pablo, Dyer, and Routledge in his squad soon. If that happens Dyer will be back on my list as a Michu alternative. Swansea have missed having him in the squad.

to be honest even as a united fan id captain suarez because of a few reasons. 1. he's in his best ever form, 2 .he's playing at home, and 3. everyone is captaining rvp.. also norwich have been very good at home lately.
