Let’s just say that our expectations are “moderate” at best. The clash between West Ham and Stoke is perhaps not everyone’s idea of a Gameweek finale, particularly after a glut of goals thus far. Even so, despite the likely war of attrition at Upton Park, we could yet be in line for a few spills, although in all likelihood, a 0-0 scoreline will be the result of choice for many Fantasy managers backing the mid-price defensive assets on show tonight.

Whatever we’re dealt, our Dugout Discussion Chatroom is open to those wishing to indulge in some real-time activity.

The news from East London finds two changes in the West Ham lineup with Yossi Benayoun and Matt Jarvis dropping out of the starting XI after picking up knocks in the win at Newcastle last time out. Their places go to Gary O’Neil and Modibo Maiga. Interestingly, Sam Allardyce also opts to keep James Collins on the bench, retaining James Tomkins alongside Winston Reid in his defence. George McCartney and Joey O’Brien are the full-backs again, leaving Guy Demel benched.

Stoke are unchanged, with Glenn Whelan passing a fitness test on a hamstring problem sustained whilst on international duty. Both Charlie Adam and Jon Walters have also overcome knocks to figure in Tony Pulis’ starting XI. Matt Etherington starts against his former club, then, with Michael Kightly again benched.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Given he is 17 though, and nobody would've ever predicted him to be thrust into the limelight so soon and starting week in week out.

Then again.... the other option was Downing so it's probably not too much of a surprise.

Am looking for a Pog replacement and can get 5.2m to spend on a 3rd striker -- is Weimann the most nailed on for that price? Any other super budget options to consider? And yes, if I could do it over again I would have spent more up front and enjoyed the midprice 5th midfield abundance that exists. Thanks.

Another terrible terrible week. Falling further and further behind; I think a wildcard is necessary.

    CURRENT:

    FEDERICI - Jasskelainen

    HANGELAND - FOX - WILSON - BAINES - Nelsen

    NOBLE - Hazard - Bale - Michu - Fellaini

    LAMBERT - RVP - BERBATOV

    WILDCARD:

    RUDDY - Jaaskelainen

    SHOREY - MCCARTNEY - CUELLAR - ENRIQUE - Nelsen

    CAZORLA - Hazard - Bale - Michu - Fellaini

    TEVEZ - SUAREZ - LONG

I feel that RVP isn't worth his 13.6 tag (although admittedly he is a beast), but I think there is just better value elsewhere. I reckon all the points are with the front 8, so going with a cheap D, maximising my Mids and Forwards - thoughts?

Ok Mark Hughes getting sacked is not good for RVP owners

Harry Redknapp and new manager could do wonders for QPR and give them new energy v utd.

    What do you think

RvP said to Sky Sports earlier today that by way of apology to those who (c)'d him against Norwich, he will be scoring a hattrick against QPR this weekend.

Well he does score when he wants.

United losing previous match is not good news for QPR. Fergie will have them fired up. RvP, Rooney, Valencia, Rafael take your pick. It will be points fest at OT.
