Fletcher is such a great FPL pick if he can do the business over the next 5/6 weeks. People are so reluctant to admit that he's a good pick because he plays for 'lowly' Sunderland.

No. Hes not a good pick because he doesnt get many chances, because Sunderland plays very poor attacking football. This, and this alone, is the reason.

Was thinking about getting AJ in for Walters but i don't know if i should save the transfer of not.. I mean AJ is in form now and Sunderland have the double coming up but some how i just don't think he is going to outscore Walters by that much in the next coming weeks.. I don't rate Walters as a footballer and don't like Stoke but he can really get some points with those fixtures.

After all Sunderland played against 10 men Fulham and even Cuellar scored 😀

Being a loyal fan can make you look a bit petty sometimes. Its a sign of loyalty and long standing support to remember past grievances and not let them go but after a while does it really matter?

Never understood why so many west ham fans hated Ince for example sooooo long after he left.

You reckon? With a free transfer it feels like a missed opportunity to gain points and Clyne and Davies are useless..depends when Walcott will return I guess.

BTW, El Berbossa will make it -12, guaranteed 😀

                  He's WebberBombing now 😉

Unless you have a decent longish term solution I would just play them. You're gonna want him back anyway, but then it does depend on the extent of the injury.

I might have been a little harsh on people who have gotten burned by this Walcott thing. But the fact still remains. unless you HAVE to make the early transfer in order to be able to afford it, and its the only transfer you can see yourself making, then waiting as long as possible is the thing to do.

I usually make my transfers early because of price rises, but thankfully, remained patient in this instance. It depends on circumstances. With Fellaini being suspended (and me wanting to keep him), it was important I waited on injury news as my bench is already one player short.

I can undertstand if youre playing the market that it makes sense to transfer as early as possible, especially if youre getting rid of someone likely to go down when the replacement likely will rise 0.3. I`d just rather have perfect information and not get burned with early injuries than have a high team value.

    Team is

    Begovic (Mignolet)

    Baines/Rafael/Simpson (Wisdom/Hughes)

    Mata/Sterling/Morrison/Tarrabt (Fellaini)

    Tevez/RVP/Berbatov

Have to free transfers and am looking to do the following; would like to bring either Walcott or Suarez in or both? but who for... dont think i can afford to with my not so great defence..

Perhaps. His corners might have lower succesion rate than say Cazorlas, but the ones that are good, creates bigger scoring chances. My favourite corner taker of all time, well atleast in my time watching football, was Zlatko. Man that guy could wip them in.

Hoping for FPL that Rooney is fit. His involvement highlightens RVP`s potential. Against Norwich RVP was the one dropping down with Chicha up front, and i fear the same thing could happen if Wellbeck starts. Although Wellbeck is a far more dynamic and well rounded player than Chicha.

Well yeah, a little. With Theo out theres fewer crosses made, which is Girouds main area of strength. But, as displayed last night he can manage without Walcott. Sagna`s return also provides more prosses than say Jenkinson, so i assume he`ll be fine. Its probably just the one game anyway.
