Just as Paddy drew level, our treble came in. A goal for Luis Suarez, coupled with an assist for David Silva and a City clean sheet in the win over Villa handed us another timely windfall and put us back in the black. Our bookmaker friends in retreat, we missed out on the Flutter last weekend but it returns for the midweek menu, with Paddy looking to prise back our winnings…

First up for Wednesday’s matches, we look to a name that’s been circulating the community for the last 48-hours: Southampton’s Gaston Ramirez. He’s on many a wishlist following a goal and assist return against Newcastle, and we’re willing to back his form with a few quid. Paddy are dangling 15/2 on another Ramirez goal against Norwich, packaged with a second consecutive Southampton cleanie. Ramirez is in fashion and even the Saints back four are playing with some confidence. We’ll take Paddy’s offer for £2 of our tenner.

Sunderland’s Stephane Sessegnon is another name garnering attention following the weekend events. A potential template breaker in midfield, Sessegnon is showing glimpses of last season’s form just in time for the Black Cats’ double fixture in Gameweek 16. After a goal and assist return in the damaging defeat to West Brom, can Sessegnon find the net when Harry’s boys visit the North-East? Paddy are offering 6/1 on a Sessegnon goal with a Sunderland shut-out against QPR. Again, we’ll chuck a couple of quid at this, with Sessegnon there or thereabouts for the Picks for the Gameweek.

Villa’s Christian Benteke is another player we’ve got a lot of time for: he’s proved integral to Villa’s threat in recent weeks and is certain to trouble Reading’s faltering back line tomorrow evening. Paul Lambert’s side are far from prolific, but we fancy them to break the shackles against the Royals and, with Paddy offering 4/1 on a Benteke goal with a Villa clean sheet, we’ll take that for £3 of our hard earned.

That leaves a handsome £3 left for the treble – having won out on this the last time around, we’re going into this one with confidence. Paddy have 10/1 on a Robin Van Persie goal against West Ham, a Juan Mata assist when Chelsea face Fulham and a Stoke clean sheet against the wounded Magpies.

Register and Bet £10 And Get £20 Free

If you’re new to Paddy Power, then you can take up any of these odds and get yourself a bonus. You can sign up via this site and get a free £20 when you register an account and bet a tenner.

Finally of course, we should state that all these offers are only available to those aged 18 and over and are subject to Paddy Power’s terms and conditions. Also, if you’re going to bet, always gamble responsibly.

Hey guys! Sorry for the double post, but I’m having some dilemmas this GW.

    My current line-up is:
    Begovic (Jussi)
    Rafael, Baines, Clark (Cuellar, Demel)
Santi-Cazorla, Silva, Bale, Sessegnon (VC), Puncheon
    RVP (C), Crouch (Berbatov)

I’m not very happy about benching Berbatov as he can score against anyone, and is on penalties, but should I bench Crouch instead, who has scored points in 4/6 home games, and now playing against a week Newcastle?

Or should I perhaps play both Berbatov and Crouch, and bench a midfielder instead? But then, who should I bench? I like all my 5 midfielders atm 🙂

      Fixtures say Berbatov.
      Prices say Puncheon.
      Stoke don't score many.

It's a very difficult decision, but I never like to bench a striker in favour of a midfielder. Good strikers can somehow bag 1/2 goals in any game, even those that look difficult on paper - for all we know they could get 1 penalty and a tap in in the first 5 mins!

      Personally I would bench Puncheon.

Yeah, I guess it makes most sense to bench Puncheon, but if there's ever a game to start him, it should be at home to Norwich (even though they've been pretty good lately). He has finally managed to get full 90 minutes games, and comes from back to back attacking returns.

For some reason I'm even contemplating benching Cazorla, but I don't think I'll have the guts. I think it will be a tough game for him, even though Everton doesn't seem able to keep clean sheets.

    My front 8 are:

Sess (QPR) - Sterling (tot) - Mata (FUL) - Bale (LIV) - Silva (wig)
Ba (stk) - Tevez (wig) - Suarez (tot)

    I'm going to:
    1) Bench Sterling
    2) Captain Silva

Good decisions? I was considering giving the armband to Sess or Mata instead...

Tough decisions on who to play this week and whether to save the transfer. Team is:

    BEG (NEW)
SHAWX (NEW) / RAFAEL (WHU) / BAINES (ARS) / CLARK (RDG)
caz (eve) / LLALANA (NOR) / FELLAINI (ARS) / BALE (LIV)
    RVP (WHU) / suarez (tot)

SUBS - DAVIES (WBA) / long (swa) / guthrie (avl)

Is this the right starting line up ? And is it worthwhile bringing in Sess for Fellaini for as free transfer or hold off and save it for the weekend?

Thanks for any help as always!

Hold off on Sess until there is confirmation of pitch conditions at Sunderland.

It might only be rumour but there is not harm in waiting on the transfer until 6 this evening.

Fletch over sess for me. But with QPR, Nor and RDG + a DGW a punt on sess or fletch is a good idea anf only 7.2/7.3 million isn't terrible.

            They've got to score sometime.
