Just as Paddy drew level, our treble came in. A goal for Luis Suarez, coupled with an assist for David Silva and a City clean sheet in the win over Villa handed us another timely windfall and put us back in the black. Our bookmaker friends in retreat, we missed out on the Flutter last weekend but it returns for the midweek menu, with Paddy looking to prise back our winnings…

First up for Wednesday’s matches, we look to a name that’s been circulating the community for the last 48-hours: Southampton’s Gaston Ramirez. He’s on many a wishlist following a goal and assist return against Newcastle, and we’re willing to back his form with a few quid. Paddy are dangling 15/2 on another Ramirez goal against Norwich, packaged with a second consecutive Southampton cleanie. Ramirez is in fashion and even the Saints back four are playing with some confidence. We’ll take Paddy’s offer for £2 of our tenner.

Sunderland’s Stephane Sessegnon is another name garnering attention following the weekend events. A potential template breaker in midfield, Sessegnon is showing glimpses of last season’s form just in time for the Black Cats’ double fixture in Gameweek 16. After a goal and assist return in the damaging defeat to West Brom, can Sessegnon find the net when Harry’s boys visit the North-East? Paddy are offering 6/1 on a Sessegnon goal with a Sunderland shut-out against QPR. Again, we’ll chuck a couple of quid at this, with Sessegnon there or thereabouts for the Picks for the Gameweek.

Villa’s Christian Benteke is another player we’ve got a lot of time for: he’s proved integral to Villa’s threat in recent weeks and is certain to trouble Reading’s faltering back line tomorrow evening. Paul Lambert’s side are far from prolific, but we fancy them to break the shackles against the Royals and, with Paddy offering 4/1 on a Benteke goal with a Villa clean sheet, we’ll take that for £3 of our hard earned.

That leaves a handsome £3 left for the treble – having won out on this the last time around, we’re going into this one with confidence. Paddy have 10/1 on a Robin Van Persie goal against West Ham, a Juan Mata assist when Chelsea face Fulham and a Stoke clean sheet against the wounded Magpies.

Register and Bet £10 And Get £20 Free

If you’re new to Paddy Power, then you can take up any of these odds and get yourself a bonus. You can sign up via this site and get a free £20 when you register an account and bet a tenner.

Finally of course, we should state that all these offers are only available to those aged 18 and over and are subject to Paddy Power’s terms and conditions. Also, if you’re going to bet, always gamble responsibly.

They only had 6 shots on target. One was a penalty, one was a freakish goalkeeping error, one was a spectacular effort from Gera (fair play) and the other was a break when the games was basically over and we had 10 men forward. That's the way I see it. It was very flattering.

Evening all. Thinking that I want some Southampton attack in my team, but don't want to disturb my forward line. At the moment I'm set on Gaston, but am I missing a trick not getting Puncheon in while he's cheap as chips? Or is Lallana a better option? Any opinions truly appreciated.

I think Gaston is the pick of the bunch, but I'm gonna go with Puncheon due to his price. For 4.5m he offers a very decent attacking threat.

            Fellaini is in for good.

I actually pulled the trigger on Berb to Fletch last night at 2:18am but it just refreshed to show the transfer hadn't been made as price rises happened. Now I've reconsidered. I'd prefer to keep berb for his coming fixtures than Fletcher.

Hi guys, posted a couple of times over weekend. Need a little help with my transfers. I have 2 FTs and £0.1 in the bank. Team below:

    Begovic

    Baines Cuellar Clyne

    Fellaini Bale Mata Lallana

    Tevez RVP Berbatov

    (McCarthy, Nelsen, Enrique, Sterling)

I'm unsure whether to do Baines out for Nastasic. It will save me more money and enable the upgrade of Lallana or even Berbatov for a better option. I feel i need some sort of Sunderland cover, Sessegnon looks most likely but finding it hard to change my midfield. Only other option is Fletcher? What you think

Rafa is apparently going to take a more defensive approach. That's what the various websites are analysing in terms of average positioning of attackers and all that shit. But everytime Mata takes a corner, he has a chance of assisting to goal... His corners are that dangerous.

It's nothing to do with "unhappiness" or "being played out of position". The one, single reason for Mata's blip in form is because I bought him 4 GWs ago. Hence he's done nothing since.

Good news for all Mata owners is that his form can be re-reversed, simply by me selling him.

Bad news for all Mata owners is that I currently have no plans to sell him in the near future. So his poor form will continue indefinitely.

Reckon Puncheon will get plenty of starts? Ready to get him in tonight for Hoillett. Will make a little on him also. Has a very good assist record.

right now he will, southampton fans are raving about the new formation and the fab 4

      Ramirez, Lallana, Puncheon and Lambert.

It's the reason for there turnaround so he won't look to change anytime soon. Anyway he is 4.5m so not like you are investing in a major risk

Any Wigan fans or just people in the know about Wigan about. Whats the news on Maloney. Saw a quote from Martinez earlier that he will be assessed before CIty match. Thinking of Punch in for him, will do it tonight to get price rise of punch if im doing it

I would but I always go with the 'never bench a striker' rule
