Theo Walcott is back for Arsenal after missing out at the weekend with a shoulder problem. Andre Wisdom has recovered from a knee knock and is available for Liverpool’s trip to Tottenham.

Gael Clichy stays on the sidelines for City with a foot problem and is likely to miss out this weekend, too, according to David Platt.

Ben Foster has been ruled out of West Brom’s next two games with Swansea and Stoke by Steve Clarke and may require further surgery. Jonas Olsson and Youssouf Mulumbu are both doubts for the Baggies tomorrow night.

Stoke are hopeful that Andy Wilkinson will be back for the weekend, though tomorrow’s clash with Newcastle comes too soon for the full-back, while George McCartney faces a late fitness test ahead of West Ham’s trip to United.

We’ve collected all this in our team news section and added our current predicted lineups for the weekend ahead. You can keep in touch with the very latest via our twitter feed as always.

Woah, just seen how expensive Suarez has got.... been vaguely thinking I'd try and get him in for Berbatov soon, but I don't think that's happening any more. He was only about 9.7 when I last looked!

its frustrating either way, i got him for 9.4m now if he gets a small injury/3 game ban for whatever its really hard to sell him for 9.9m to then buy back 2/3 GWs later for 10.5m

But he won't be 10.5 if that happens, he'd drop about 0.3 IMO

id still be down... what im saying is for people with 0.1m in bank its a hard decision if he misses a few games. especially teams with bench fodder.

This is very true. Getting in early on players is good for team value but it can leave you with decision to either keep all season or sell and never get back...

    Repost : Hi guys ! 2 Fts ! What should i do (team link) ? :

    A) Baines + Ba > Aguero + 4,7 def (Garrido ?)

    B) Morrison + Ba > Ramirez + Giroud

    C) Just Morrison > Ramirez and save another FT ?

    D) Other move ?

    REPOST any toughts?
    Bego
    Sagna, Rafael, Cameron
    Fellaini, Mata, Bale, Walcott
    Ba, RVP(c), Tevez(vc)
    Jaask, Sterling, Gorkss, Demel 1FT

so would you do anything with the freebie or save it and next week the plan would probably be
Rafael+Demel –> Wisdom+B.Jones in order to do Tevez–>Aguero the week after before the Manchester derby.

Everyone is going to captain RVP. So if he fails miserably, everyone fails with you.

If you captain Tevez, he'll be off on 59 minutes just after RVP has bagged his third.

        And you KNOW it!

Indeed, especially for the price. Before Liverpool, Swansea looked tight against the bigger teams, it's why I kept faith in Davies despite literally not doing anything! At 4.0 they are both good enough options to warrant the budget places in your team.

But is he good enough for a keeper spot when you could just buy Davies...who hasn't got very good fixtures anyway.

Soton have better fixtures, but their defence is way more porous and will keep fewer CS than Swansea. Thats really all there is to say, atleast on my end.

Ok, this is on Gazza, since u've asked like 6 times already and probably won't stop. (Repost of what i said on ur previous post)

might work, with Cork back they’ve only conceded like 3 goals in 2 i think? good fixtures, and yes, more nailed on, but i’d only go short term, needa find a replacement after that, maybe Ruddy or Foster if they recover soon enough

What are your thoguhts on how RVP is playing atm? He seems to be playing at too slow a pace and seems content just drifting into areas to drag defenders out which is benefiting his team-mates and not him so much.

Seems a bit lost when they play the possession game and they're not feeding him enough as they should. Probably also been marked out of the game the last 3 which can be troublesome. It looks ominous as I don't know how long it can last before we all get fed up.

Never is a pretty bold statement. As for the actual pricetag, its pretty much where it needs to be. Last years golden boot playing for the best attacking team in the UK.

best attacking team? he was priced for Arsenal and if im not mistaken than City and United were the teams with the most goals. But can you remember one player who has been top in FPL for 2 seasons in a row? Outside of CR7

No, but thats mainly because this is only my second year really playing this game. United are the best attacking side in the league, every year they create tons of chances and score tons of goals. When you score 30 goals you deserve to get the highest price tag. How would you see him priced?

As for not wanting him in your team, thats a different topic entirely. I have my own reasoning im willing to share if thats something youre interested in hearing.

Yep, moving around so much that he is not being the main goalscoring threat. IMO this is effect, not cause. In the sense that he is doing it because the ball is not being put on a plate for him - he is trying to create his own chances. Giroud was doing a similar thing when the Arsenal service was faltering without Walcott - playing too deep and wide.

Regarding Jackoff's suggestion of betting on all 10 home teams to score this week, as a 10-fold accumulator Paddy Power that's got odds of 4.77.

If I do it as 10 9-fold £1 accumulators I have "potential returns" of £41.02 from a £10 stake. So that's effectively odds of 4.102 I guess, with some protection if one team messes up.

I honestly think this is a horrible bet. Ten matches?! There's a lot to go wrong here for a pretty meagre return.

I think there's a fair chance any of Southampton, Swansea or Spurs could be closed out and that's without considering Wigan!
