Theo Walcott is back for Arsenal after missing out at the weekend with a shoulder problem. Andre Wisdom has recovered from a knee knock and is available for Liverpool’s trip to Tottenham.

Gael Clichy stays on the sidelines for City with a foot problem and is likely to miss out this weekend, too, according to David Platt.

Ben Foster has been ruled out of West Brom’s next two games with Swansea and Stoke by Steve Clarke and may require further surgery. Jonas Olsson and Youssouf Mulumbu are both doubts for the Baggies tomorrow night.

Stoke are hopeful that Andy Wilkinson will be back for the weekend, though tomorrow’s clash with Newcastle comes too soon for the full-back, while George McCartney faces a late fitness test ahead of West Ham’s trip to United.

    Why hits don't work short term.

    I won my Paddy Cup tie 36-35

    That is only after my opponent took a -4pts hit to do Progrebnyak/Rooney (1+6) → Berbatov/Tevez (2+1). That is a -4 minus another 4 to bring it down enough for me to scrape through to the 4th round.

      i took a 8 point hit to bring in fletcher who scored and 3 BPs and suarez the week he hit 3 against norwich and stuck the armband on him. thats why they do work.

    Thoughts on Ba > Long for a differential?

    The only problem I can think of is that I'm also contemplating the likes of Suarez (GW15 if not booked), Fletcher (although maybe OTT with Sess) and even Berbatov from GW16.

    Captain choice:

    A) Tevez (Would assume he’ll play after his rest at the weekend, didn’t play CL last week either though, so you never know)
    B) Sess (nailed on, good form, strong home fixture)
    C) Silva (having only just come back from injury im not sure he’s nailed on considering the games he’s playing over the past fortnight)
    D) Mata (not sure about him because of potential Benitez negative tactics)

    What do you think guys...Defoe and Enrique will rise soon.

    Thinking Suarez OUT Defoe IN and Fonte OUT Enrique IN.

    Though Suarez has good fxitures I'll be covered with Sterling and Enrique (OOP) and some Spurs cover.

    Make sense. I only just got Suarez in but Enriquye is very tempting and sways it I think?

          Umm well he did previously...Adebayor started as lone striker in the Europa league if I remember correctly. AVB is so smart. They need goals, so he starts Adebayor.

            Adebayor started Europa when they rest some players. And he played all the time BEFORe red card.

    Captain Rooney or RVP?

    I know the Captain Poll and general FFS community will say RVP, but captaining Rooney the GW just gone was the right call.

    Currently have it on RVP though, as I'm not sure Rooney will play for the whole 90 with his return from injury.
