I just did Gorkss to Shorey. What a boring, lateral transfer. I hope he gets something!
Open Controls-
Have Gorkss also and hate using the xfer to bring in another Reading defender but may end up doing the same thing. May just hold on to him and have 2 next week
Open Controls -
If Gorkss isn't playing, it's not very lateral imo. As for boring I have no counter arguments π
Open Controls
-
-
Tempted to do Cazorla to Walcott for a freebie? Looks good?
Open Controls -
Federici (Jaask)
Enrique - Cameron - Demel (Clyne Ridgewell)
Mata - Fellaini - Sess (c) - Michu - Sterling
RvP - Berba (Suarez)
1 FT and 0.9 in the bank
Any comment for my team for next GW???Open Controls-
Nice team. I might even play Jussi over Fed despite the double. West Ham strong at home and Liverpool will be without a single striker!
Open Controls-
I am covered with Demel for that game....
Open Controls
-
-
Nice team, good balance
Open Controls-
My plan is to save FT and than for next GW with 2 FT to remove Sess and maybe do Mata to Bale or Walcot....
Open Controls
-
-
-
So how does this sound..
Bale > Michu
McCartney > Shorey
-4pts this week
Then when Bale's fit get him back for CazOpen Controls-
just do mcartney shorey and wait for bale news
Im doing demel shorey and scrapping my planned bale sess move
my bench is too strong even without the shorey moveOpen Controls -
Same plans. But i already done bale to michu on sunday at 0.2 cheaper and hope to ride on the latter's price movement when bale is out. Plan is to get bale back for caz when he is fit.

Prediction for the NEW v WIG game? Have a gut feeling WIG will win, might just be indigestion though :/
Open Controls -
-
What are peoples thoughts on Rafa? Do you think he'll be benched against City? If United anticipate Dzekos aerial threat? Lothe to get rid i've had him since GW 1.
Open Controls-
apart from the fact that he's a selfish brazilian whose assists come from miscued shots on goal, he is a shocking defender and maybe fergie knows it
not sure if he is dropping in value but maybe just ship him out for shorey who IS actually a defender and ACTUALLY crosses the ball with a regularity that you can never rely on with a hit and miss rafaelOpen Controls-
Hmmm. Might be time to cash in. Shorey though? Double game week i know, but both away then in the 5 after that they play United, City, Spurs and Swansea.
Open Controls
-
-
Doubt he'll be dropped. Been one of Utds best players so far.
Open Controls-
Personally think he will be benched , hes good going forward , however away to Man c they going to need defenders who can defend , and they looked better defensively once he was subbed out
Open Controls -
One of their best fantasy players, hardly one of their best football players.
Open Controls
-
-
-
How doubtful is Fletch???
Dont wnat him playing just 1 frakin game....will ship in that case.Open Controls -
-
It will be a long week......
Open Controls-
It will be a long day, never mind week!
Open Controls
-
-
This been worst week of my season , not points wise but in terms of having my future plans decimated.
Will now be forced to sit and watch quite a few of my players fall in value , while two of the best languish on the bench
Begovich
Demel Hughes McCauley Enrique........Gorkss
Michu Sterling Cazola Sessegron (c) ....bale
Van Persie Fketcher .......Suarez
Thinking use transfer on Gorkss to Cuelllar , then can put Mccauley on bench
Its not ideal but dont really want to spend points., and will want bale soon anywayOpen Controls-
Don't spend points.
Bench Suarez & Bale.
Cuellar is generally decent (not just for a DGW like Reading players will be).
Try to ditch one of Sess/Fletcher after DGW.
Ignore price drops.Open Controls

Bored, waiting for my tea to brew.
Some observations:
Template team on here for any given GW will equate to such a small percentage of the overall player base. So template team however 'boring' it may seem to some on here, will in the context of the complete player base have so many differentials within it.
Transfer out high ownership players (despite the overwhelming logic behind it) at your peril. For example, Tevez is a rotation-risk, albeit most 'ghost' teams/inactive casual teams/dead after GW2 teams will have him (notice he is often most VC each week in the statistics tab).
Sometimes do not be afraid not only to take a punt and transfer a player in, but to take a punt and leave your team alone. Take your hands off the steering wheel. Let a player score 3-4 blanks but keep the faith. 2 of my highest ranking game weeks came after no transfers I recall.
A knee-jerk is not limited to being within the constraint of one gameweek. It is within more. Shipping a proven player after 2 or 3 blanks can and often will come back to bite you. Try to watch highlights or read match reports to see if at least they played well: case in point - Leighton Baines, Michu - both playing well despite blanks. Also, just because a player scores big one week, does not mean he will the next,
Do not be afraid to let the price market dictate the players you bring in. Many will jump on a bandwagon and use a free transfer almost a week before the next week starts. It is often better to wait and see what injuries occur, or for team sheet news to unravel first, and then regardless of a loss on the market, make a transfer. Higher price does not equal higher points. In my opinion it can create some interesting 'differentials', for example I missed out on Mata a few weeks back by 0.1m, and instead opted for Walcott - the lack of funds I had dictated this to a high degree. Plus, you are much less likely to take hits.Open Controls-
I think your tea's gone cold :p
Open Controls -
i brought in walcott for kaca last week, so i ended up with mata, bale, fellaini, sterling and the arsenal man in midfield. i WRONGfully benched fellaini for sterling (a bad mistake that i didn't regret much now because i think it's worth the gamble anyway). but come to think abour it, i would surely play fellaini last time if i didn't bought walcott earlier. sometimes punt doesnt take you far, i suppose.
Open Controls-
Just get a bench warmer and play 3-4-3 EVERY week you can. Pointless having 7ish mill of curly black (pubes-like) hair on the bench.
Open Controls-
that's my initial plan pre-season. but a strong front 8 like mine now would came handy in cases like suarez suspended (this GW) and mata unavailability in GW17. what do you reckon?
Open Controls
-
-
-
Price market is so true. Never would have gone for Suarez this week if his price wasn't rising like a madman
Open Controls
-
-
Sir Nicky Shorey anyone?
http://members.fantasyfootballscout.co.uk/my-stats-tables/view/1469/Open Controls-
good table
Open Controls-
Think there are more assists to come. A side is more likely to win corners when they are losing http://t.co/k9eGtaha
Which explains Shorey's 34 corners in the last 6 matches!Open Controls-
I like your style Porky.

McCartney > Shoery or Cuellar ??
got 1M in the bankOpen Controls-
-
Suppose but Sunderland aren't the next Barcelona either are they..
Open Controls-
Sunderland just as likely to get relegated as Reading π
Open Controls-
No, because Sunderland have a better defence, which brings us back to the question: Shorey or Cuellar?
Open Controls-
Again agree. Sunderland have conceded 18 goals, the same as West Ham and Liverpool and 1 less than Everton
Reading have conceded 27, same as QPR and only Southampton have conceded more.
CellularOpen Controls-
That's true, and i am going for Cuellar, but remember it's not all about CS, attacking potential as well.
Open Controls
-
-
-
-
Totally agree.
Dont get carried away by the double. Think. Reading are a shit team who will get relegated. Dont get double game fever. You have West ham defender who you could hold til back or move to a Sunderland team who at least have 2 home games. Reading also have Arsenal and man city next. Using a free transfer to get in a reading defender is a waste imoOpen Controls
-
-
After the double, Reading have tough fixtures.
Open Controls
-
here's my team:
bego mcCarthy
enrique cuellar o'brien nelsen gorkss
mata bale walcott fellaini sterling
ba Rvp suarez
1 FT, 0 in the bank.
a) mata > michu (missed his 0.2 rise already) or Sess/AJ for the DGW
b) mata > maloney / routledge / puncheon (bench warmer to rotate with sterling & money to upgrade elsewhere)
b) ba > defoe (before another price rise)
c) save it.Open Controls-
sorry, meant to be a), b), c) & d).
Open Controls-
Does o'brien play? Currently you have 3-4-2 since gorkss has been dropped
Open Controls-
o'brien does play. he started the last 6 games for WHU and played for 90 minutes on 5 occasions. nelsen also plays regularly and i think redknapp won't drop him atm. my problem lies with gorkss now and i have no fund left to do the lateral shorey move.
Open Controls

As long as you make no hits, I don't think there is a bad choice there, or much difference between each choice.
Open Controls
-

So when Parker is fit, Spurs will concede less, yeah?
I'm really looking forward to getting Caulker in my team. Wondering if he's nailed on though.Open Controls-
It will be interesting to see what happens when Parker comes back.
Sandro is playing very well at the moment.
Spurs are not about keeping clean sheets. Neither is AVB. So don't expect too much on that side.
Keep a lookout for Dawson though (hoping we will see Gallas go to QPR in January).Open Controls
-
-
Any early predictions for Flether's injury? Did he even limp off?
Open Controls-
II dunno but surely you arnt gonna buy him though???
Open Controls
-
-
Bale Cazorla Fellaini Mata Sterling
Berbatov Suarez Tevez
2 FT
Already did Bale > Michu, keeping Suarez (1 missed GW not worth out/in cost)
Secong FT decision
A.) Keep FT
B.) Berbatov > RooneyOpen Controls-
Second
Open Controls-
keep FT. berba has NEW & qpr next. i would have kept bale and play 4-4-2 (if you def is decent enough).
Open Controls
-
-
Berba to Rooney gives you a mental front 8! Do it.
Just have a plan to get Bale back, i wld be looking at Carzola, alittle overpriced for his returns imoOpen Controls -
Keep Berba dude. Fulham good fixtures and Berbatov has been playing very well despite the lack of goals. He'll come good soon.
Open Controls
-
-
Chelsea bringing in Avram Grant. Lol.
Open Controls -
You out there today Mr Ketsu?
Open Controls -
begovic
rafael, cuellar, demel (clyne, ridgewell)
ramirez, silva, fellaini, noble (bale)
rvp, ba (suarez)
as suarez and bale will not play ...which formation should i follow
a) 4-4-2 (playing noble) or
b) 5-3-2 (playing all my def)
c) or 4 point hit replacing sua to fletcher(c) for jst dgw and thn bring sua back
i am leaning towards a or c as clyne has reading at home
thoughts guys????Open Controls -
Was kicking myself for leaving Michu on the bench (after swapping players around all week) - Then I see Morrison got rested and I get an auto-sub. It doesn't happen very often, but every now and then, this game throws you a bone. π
Open Controls-
When it happens to you, great, when a rival gets points off the bench or from vice captain it's infuriating!
Nice grav by the way, great show.Open Controls
-
-
I think this is one of those gwks for just sitting. The likes of Suaz, Berbs, Bale et al all failed but you know you have to hang on to these players.
How are people scoring this week?Open Controls-
58 with no one left.
Open Controls-
oh, 61 all done
Open Controls
-
-
Agree. Sitting on Bale and playing Sterling is ok. Done too many short term transfers, basically swapping Bale, Mata, Santi, Haz etc round and round.
Fellani, Bale, and Michu can pretty much stay
Mata may become Silva
Sterling is a keeper.
Got to keep thinking this though all the way to deadline!Open Controls -
53 all out.
Highlight was playing Foster.
π
*ready to let down the curtain on worst season in 6 years.
Convince me not to....Open Controls -
67 after an 8 point hit. Pretty pleased to put up a decent score. The US elections really effed up about 2 months of fantasy football for me.
Open Controls-
π
Cut down on the hits, and stop blaming others.Open Controls -
That's very good considering the hits. Kudos
Open Controls -
Politics? Never heard that one π
At least the Americans had the good sense to stick with Obama.Open Controls-
+1 helps the rest of us a bit as well
Open Controls

72 no hits
Open Controls

i'm the worst out here.... π

My team looks ok on paper but just keeps going from worse to worse.
Bego (gazza)
Enrique, Rafael, jones (gorkks, nelsen)
Mata, bale, santi, sessegnon (punch)
Berbs, ba, rvp
1FT- is it worth doing bale> silva or another option?
I feel like not having fellaini or Michu has let me down and now I need sessegnon to pull thru as my differentialOpen Controls-
Michu and Fellaini are probably the best value players in the game. Both playing striker, both relatively cheap, both class. The sooner you get them in, the sooner you'll make money too. Fixtures relatively kind for them also.
Open Controls-
oh, didnt see michu missing, sess to michu next week for sure
Open Controls
-
-
looks ok
Is that Jones manu? if so should go to a 4.0 or 4.5 Enrique and Rafel expensive enough
Sess to fellani next week
Hold bale imo
I personally dont like santi but fixtures good. Santi to silva for meOpen Controls
-
-
Best Defender for 4-5M ??
Already got stoke pool & ars defendersOpen Controls -
Bad week is over i guess and GW 16 Team looks like
Ming
Shorey, Enque, Cameron
Bale, Walcott, Sess, Mcanuff, Mata
Rooney, Fletcher
Subs: Jask, Ridg, Demel, Suarez
A) How bad is Bales injury any chance of him playing this GW. Should i take him out for Michu.
B) Will fletcher play both the games. Fletcher to Defoe if he is out for DGW seems a safe bet.
C) Should i do Mata to Fellani this GW.
D) Save the transfer
E ) Next week : Fletcher to Defoe, expecting Bale fit too, Mcanuff to Pilkington and Sess to Michu/ Fellani.
Any comments on the sameOpen Controls -
Why isn't Gorkss playing? Am I missing something
Open Controls-
Gorkss is missing something. Not much though, to be honest.
Open Controls
-
-
I admit it would have helped a lot had I stuck to my policy of not using my 2nd FT unless in dire straits.
Would have had Tevez and not Suarez, more points, and not feel that my soul had been soiled upon now.Open Controls-
what you doing with Suarez now btw???
Open Controls-
well my dustbin's not large enough...
it's one game so no biggie
but when Gorkss, McCartney and Bale also are threatening not to play it starts looking grim...
was hoping to save my tranny as well πOpen Controls-
in big dilemma myself
Suarez, Bale, Maloney, Hangeland, Friedel, Rafael...
π don't know which to look into first....don't really want to take hits and got only 1 ft....Open Controls-
I'd might look at Hangeland or Rafael, or Maloney, if you are running out of attacking players (which it looks like)
support your non-hit thinking...Open Controls
-
-
-
-
I've got issues now that I need to play 4 at the back π
I'm not confident 4 of these will play
Rafael / Enrique / Billy Jones / Nelsen / GorkssOpen Controls -
With you there Gaz. Most disgusting transfer I've done in my career. Can't even look at myself in the mirror no more.
And to make it worse, the creature produced a nil return and is now suspended.
All because my rival had him and I was afraid of what he might do to Southampton.
Now I don't know what to do with him.
Mind you Tevez is not much better, but at least he's not a cheating racist....Open Controls
-
-
Predicted City attack against United anyone?
