The lure of the double Gameweek is strong. To spend or not to spend? Do we toss our armbands in the unlikely direction of Sunderland or Reading? There are many questions to throw around this morning and, with just over an hour to go, our Saturday Surgery Chatroom is now open to offer real-time assistance to those firmly in a quandary.
The day’s Dugout Discussion follows around 2.30 today, with a nightmarish double Gameweek viewpoint to come in the Pre-match Preamble very shortly.
Im going Mata, ready to explode.. just as people are considering to get him out for his blank.
Play two from; Demel, Cameron, Clyne and Sterling. Federici in goal
thought on emmerson boyce?
also, who to captain, johnson or sessegnon? (considering fletcher will play only 60ish minutes per game)
All Set??
Migs (Jaaski)
Cuellar, Demel, Cameron (Hughes, Rafael)
Silva, Leigertwood, Hazard, Sessegnon(c) (Sterling)
Tevez, RVP, Lambert
captain Michu, johnson (unlikely), fellaini or berbatov?
Had any info come in on Fletcher? If he's going play I'm captaining.
Do you think Bale > Cazorla is worth a hit?
Right rafa or cameron (given im playing bego) ? cheers lads
Captain Sess feels so wrong.
Have too many injuries but did way too many transfers.
Please rate my team. 1.3 m in bank.
Surfer Rosa :
Begovic
Azpilicueta, Cuellar, Morrison
Mata, Fellaini, Michu, Silva
Long, Rooney, Aguero
Foster,Sterling, Clark, Nastasic
like it
I'd play sterling over long and clark over azpilicueta assuming he might not play.
Cheers. I put Clark in. Staying with Shane though. West Brom need to bounce back and Gunner's defence isn't great. Sterling probably play further forward without Suarez but he's no striker and Hammers defence is good at home. Rogers is kinda hinting at a young player getting his chance up front ?

I'm thinking there could be a big advantage to those that sit still this weekend. Many pulling bale and Suarez and taking hits for Sunderland and reading players. Many don't even check to see if this may cost them 8 pts instead of 4 because in 1 weeks time they may want these players back whereas the reading and Sunderland sched will be crap. My opinion is that if you didn't preplan for this, let it go. Transfer window coming, unpredictable weather, busy schedule w rotation and higher likelihood for injuries. Good time to save for 2 freebies, and your only reward will be if the guys coming in score double digits. Also in terms of (c) I think sess is more than reasonable w 2 home games. If not c him now, why bring him in.
the only dgw player i have is cuellar and i have him since gwk1. i decided to ignore the dgw because it doesn't look that much appealing
The shorey love is madness to me, especially to take a hit. He has 4 assists in last 4 games and even so has avg only 4.5 ppg in that period. So maybee if he keeps that unsustainable form, he brings home 9 pts. More likely, he bags in 4 pts total for a net of zero if taking a hit and then paying another 4 in a few weeks time to rid your team of him - for a net of -4.
Where are the South Sandwich islands, anyway?
HE DOES WHAT HE WANTS
HE DOES WHAT HE WANTS
ALAN SMITH
HE DOES WHAT HE WANTS 🙂
stop.
Gerrard! Cazorla sits on the half way line, way too deep to get a big score
The michu kneekerk captainers will get burnt today. People don't seem to understand Norwich are a very very tough outfit. They are a team who have beaten united, Arsenal, drew away at Everton and narrowly lost 1-0 to Liverpool at Anfield.
I can honestly see the game being 0-0 or a 1-0 at most.
I am going RVP myself, united are a big game team. This is a chance to get one over their rivals. Fergie got in RVP specifically to score more goals in order for this not to go down to goal difference again this season. They will set to attack city from the start and city have generally struggled against teams who attack them - look at the CL.
Huh? Liverpool won 5-2 at Carrow road.
You got there first lol
Do you want us to bookmark this Demba? 😛 The thing with Michu is, he is very clinical. 10 goals from 18 shots on target. So, Norwich maybe tough but one chance might be enough for him. And City have improved defensively in the last 5 weeks. You can see people's thinking. Could go either way.
You actually made a counter point vs Michu. Looking at his conversion rate he is currently better than Falcao, Ronaldo or any other striker in europe outside of Messi. And has twice the conversion rate he had last season=bound for a huge dropoff
Good Point. I will Captain RVP as well. 🙂
It's one of the longest away trips of the season though at nigh on 5 1/2 hours. That will surely take its toll if they go by coach
So.... Sess (C) lol
Good points, well made, but I'm still on Fellaini
Do you mean the Premier League's leading goalscorer Michu, that one?
Jussi or Begovic, that is the question.
captain FLETCHER or MICHU
Is Lennon a good option to replace Sess after DGW ?
nailed on and in decent form
Lennon has been incredible. Sometimes you think of him as being in the shadow of Bale, we tend to forget how much he works for the team. But he puts his heart into it every time and he is having a tremendous season.”
AVB on Lennon
clint better option if u have any money in banck
i think clint is more at threat with ade back
lennon is nailed on the right and once bale returns dempsey maybe sub a good abit in a
4-4-2
Thats it. Ive done it and never changing it back.
Fletcher (C)
Wish me luck.
Michu doesn't feel like a good captain choice.
Scoring odds suggest arsenal at home are onto a winner.
Is it worth doing Walcott to Sess for a freebie for one week?
I have Fletcher, Suarez and Maloney, so I need to get a playing midfielder in and dont fancy anyone else.
OK...FF question now 🙂
I am going Demel instead of Rafael....fair shout ?
Deffos
Yes, there is no chance City does not score at home.
YOU'VE BEEN BEATEN BY THE FRANCHISE

yadda yadda yadda p*ss off
Final call, who to captain?
A. Sessegnon
B. Michu
I am nervous. 🙁
Still undecided 🙁 Changing between RVP and Fletcher and Sess all the time.
Still undecided, on who to captain :
RVP
Michu
Fellaini
Mata
Giroud
Berba
Need to choose one from Enrique, Clyne and Demel... thoughts?
