Norwich City’s Robert Snodgrass tops our ICT Index rankings going into the final two matches of Gameweek 16. With Wigan’s James McCarthy and Swansea’s Jonathan De Guzman keeping Michu company in the top four, our rankings have an unfamiliar look about them as the dust settles on 48-hours of action. All the statistics behind our ICT Index can be examined in full in the members area and, as usual, we put the weekend to bed with our selection of the eye-catching figures on show…

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Shawcross is killing me, 2 of my main rivals have him. Can't think on a transfer this week. Should I do McAuley to Shawcross?

yeah it is but main rival has him, it's a rather stupid move for next GW

Sterling to Puncheon won't free up anything like the funds needed for that team

I have 2.7 in bank, Caz to Bale will use some I would think

Long to ba could cost up to a million.

Ramirez to Mata will cost around 3.5.

          Mata, Dempsey, Michu, Fellaini, Puncheon

as I still have my wc, building team value has been a slow process.

But I don't believe in using the wc just for team value, there will be a time when i will actually need the use of one. I'm hoping for another GW36 style DGW with which to throw it down.

Scratch that idea - just checked and that move would leave me only 4.3 for a 5th mid - there isn't anyone who actually plays available for that money..

I know it's obvious Liverpool need a striker or two in January to cover Suarez. But do they really need to buy a world class one? I mean their system under Rodgers requires only one striker and Suarez is never ever going to be rotated. So basically they're buying a guy to sit on the bench or adapt to a 4-3-3 formation.

Someone like Ba or a similar striker's striker just doesn't suit their style. He'd only end up disrupting the teams tactical nature. If anything they should buy a quality left winger or someone like Podolski that can play that wide left role effectively (not that Podolski is the best at that role)

I think it'd be madness for someone like Ba to join Liverpool as he'd not be able to play his normal game. Surely Liverpool need something different. And I don't believe Rodgers particularly wants to sign another striker too urgently. At least not one that needs to played every week. He only let Carroll go because he knew he would never play him. So I don't know why a striker like Ba would want to join Liverpool to sit on the bench.

    Thoughts?

I think Ba is touted as the one because of the clause (7.5m in his contract)

Other than that I really can't see why Liverpool would be interested or at least why Rodgers would go for it. They'd have to switch to 4-4-2 and Rodgers strikes me as someone who is loyal to his formation.

transfer fee is not that big of an issue the wages are. They could also get into trouble with the FFP if they sign some players with big wages. That is why they are giving youngsters so many chances and throwing them into the fire- cause they have to.

the reason they play the system they are is because they have 1 striker. Suarez works better with another striker. His form for uruguary playing alongside cavani is nothing short of outstanding. Right now suarez does too much work for Liverpool, another world class striker would help tremendously

suarez cant play 2 full games a week next year with the europa,fa cup
he's still not clinical enough, should be on 15 goals this season if he were

need someone to come off the bench when losing and go ultra attack?
also suarez could always play on the wing, will torment fullbacks

Think Suarez coul play off another striker easy enough. Some of his worst games have been when he's dropped deeper however, gives the ball away a lot, which isn't a problem in the area where you want someone to try something, but dangerous round the halfway line.
Sturridge it is then. God help us.

I actually appreciate that the ref 'let the players play' and didn't hand out cards like gift chocolates in the derby. After all, it was an ineffectual little touch. Redding him at that stage would only have marred the contest.

@ 220 k a week - he should have been prepared to stay at whatever renumeration the club was prepared to pay - ultimately he would still end up @ millionaire , remember this is the guy who went off drinking piña colidas while playing golf in Argentina whilst being paid top dollar by the Sheik and left his club to struggle on , MORALS -tevez can't spell the word , his bothom line is dollars , pity he wouldn't take a leaf from kompanys book or one of the genuine city players.

4 pt hit? Getting Rooney would mean doubling up on utd attack with rvp. I am over 100 pts behind mini league leader now so got nothing to lose really.
