While I was “driving home for Christmas”, Granville was recovering from a breathless double Gameweek that left him just above the average; his humble target achieved, he’s now got to patch up his injury ravaged squad and contend with all my crazy Wildcard talk.

Wayne Rooney’s form is the catalyst for such a revolution in my squad, as we discuss the benefits of doubling up on the United men up top. There’s the usual foray into the transfer market with “all board”, the preview of the weekend fixtures and the latest attempt to revive the corpse of the ScoutCatst team: Granville is the surgeon this week and he’s spending some points.

        I'm not 100% sure AVB will want to play him against stoke, but it all depends how well has Bale recovered, but pottters do tend to get physical and teams could get sometime (over) cautious

    Stumped. Had planned to get in Bale for Sess and Tevez for Fletcher. However, as I also have Walcott, Sterling, Enrique in there, there a few question marks over putting out an XI

    Could go Fletcher > Ade & Sess > Silva instead

    Make any sense?

    A: fletch >> suarez (gw17)..... sess >> lennon/nasri (gw18)
    B: fletch >> suarez (gw17)......sess + enrique >> bale + hughes (gw18 for a hit)
    C: fletch >> defoe (gw17)........sess >> mata (gw18)
    D: fletch >> giroud (gw17).......sess + cazorla >> bale + mata (gw18 for a hit)
    E: fletch >> tevez (gw17)........sess + cueller >> bale + clyne (gw18 for a hit)

    Tough ones i know...but i am leaning towards B or D. defoe and tevez will always have me worried about rotation and bringing in grioud allows me arsenal coverage as cazorla as overpriced

    This is the squad i have that may feature this weekend and i have £1m in the bank

    Mignolet
    Cameron, Rafael, Hughes
    Michu, Bale, Sterling, Fellaini
    Aguero, Suarez, RVP

    Cuellar only sub

    with bale and sterling doubtful would you

    a) mignolet to reina (could end up with 10 if the two mentioned do miss out)
    b) cuellar to a 5.5m defender and play ahead of hughes
    c) take a hit

    Enrique (doubt) - Hangeland - Cameron - Fonte (no game) - McCartney (doubt)
    Sess - Sterling (rumoured to be rested?) - Michu - Silva - Mata (no game)
    Suarez - Rooney - Defoe

    0FT, £1.6m in the bank.

    If Sterling doesn't play I won't be able to field 11 players. Any suggestions?
