On this crispy Tuesday morning, I’d like to extend a very Merry Christmas from myself and all of those involved in Fantasy Football Scout! Yes it even calls for the use of a cheesy exclamation mark (shudder). Seriously though, best wishes to you all and your families.

Of course, I’d also like to take this opportunity to thank-you for your superb support over the past year, although I’ll save the sentimental stuff and yearly round-up for the New Year message.

For now, I’ll leave you with some exciting news – as we prepare two new key features to be rolled out in just over a week, in preparation for the January Wildcards. Later today we’ll be previewing one of those features, a Fantasy Football Scout community ranking table that will have a version available for members and non-members alike. Come back to us once the Queen has done with her message later today. Merry Christmas!

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Save, if anyone is dropped it should be Valencia. Rooney's poor game was a one-off and Valencia has been poor for a while.

He should be the one dropped, Young could move to the right and Welbeck could start on the left.

Just speculating of course but save.

    1) Chances of rafael playing this weekend?
    2)A) rafael > vertonghen/ivanovic
    B) caz > bale…willl get him back in a few weeks.
    C) save tranny
    D) sterling to any mid upto 6.4..bt who?

    Begovic
    Enrique davies rafael/cueller
    Michu silva sterling taarabt
    Rvp berbs suarez.

Am leaning towards B so that I don’t have to play sterling and 3pool players against stoke. Only problem is that I will loose so much value with caz and bale is on 4 yellows....would rather take out silva but that won't solve the problem of fielding 3 against lpool

      Yeah about 9.5.

I'd like him at United but we already have Kagawa for where he'd like to play and Rooney is also playing that role now. He'd have to sit deeper if United were to get him and I'm not sure he's down with that. Part of the issue is where Fergie would want him to play in our setup.

Some thought we didn't need RVP and look how that is turning out. I reckon he wouldn't hurt us either 😉

Seen a lot of Tevez > Berbatov advice...not so sure.
    In the last 6 games;
    Minutes - Tevez 367, Berbatov 540
    Shots - Tevez 25, Berbatov 9
    In box - Tevez 20, Berbatov 6
    Chances created - Tevez 13, Berbatov 9
Penalty area touches - Tevez 47, Berbatov 16
    Goals/assists - Tevez 3/4, Berbatov 0/0

So on the RVP 'rest debate'
....last season the "busy period" was over these dates for Utd:
    Sun 18 Dec
    Wed 21 Dec
    Mon 26 Dec
    Sat 31 Dec
    Wed 04 Jan
Similarly to this week, last year the fixtures on the 18th and 21st were separated by only 3 days for Utd to recover.
Interestingly Fergie started with the same 2 strikers on the 21st as he did on the 18th.
Possibly good news for Rooney & RVP owners.
    Also as a side note
    - Rooney played 4 out of 5 of these.
    - Fergie played Evra, Valencia & Carrick in all 5 of these game for the full 90 min.

I'd say Puncheon easily but Snodgrass is in quite good form.

      Quickie?!

      A) Keep Cazorla and play Sterling vs Begovic
      B) Cazorla > Bale (-4) - Already have Defoe.

I kept him, so that I can do a late WC instead of setting team up for Arsenal DGW with WC.

Is Baird nailed on for Fullham for the next few gameweeks? He seems to offer more attackign threat than Huges, I can only afford one of the two, which one would you go with?

No. Duff plays wide right. Baird's in defensive midfield.

Anyone else worried about not owning Torres ?

He's on a great run right now. 2 weeks ago I did Aguero to Tevez. Now Torres has shot up in price.
