We’re down to the last four now in the Fantasy Football Scout Paddy Power Cup VII now. The next round will take place over Gameweek 22 and will see David Bevan’s “ange1range1” take on Sir Alex Jnr’s “Milehigh” – the former is the clear underdog going into this one; although he’s nestled inside the top 7,000, David’s opponent has moved ominously into 34th place overall after yesterday’s seven fixtures.

Site regular “WildRover” is the early favourite heading into the second semi-final. He has moved up to 439th in the overall rankings ahead of tonight’s three remaining Gameweek 21 fixtures, while his opponent, Mr KK, is just inside the 30,000 mark. With winter wildcards available, however, the form book could easily be turned on its head as our quartet plot for silverware…

  I know I'd be tempted but it's not a total write off. Nasty & Garrido were probably just xmas rotations, still first choice. Aguero might be back for next game.
  
  If you were aiming for a late WC I wouldn't change course just for those guys. Swap Ba and Caulker for O'Brien and Podolski and fix it all after the DGW.

    Thanks, the only thing is it scuppers my plans to target Fellaini/Bale and I'm not that mad about the DGW if I'm honest. But still you make good points there.

    Is the smart thing to do..but he's more effective on the wing and Rafa likes Mata more central. I am just dreaming, Mata is in all likelihood going to sit this one out.

      I'd prefer him to play in the hole not up front...what would he do up front? He's the guy who creates everything from midfield so it wouldn't be any better imo. He needs to pick up the ball deeper not be a target man.
