    Two common 'rules' I keep seeing

    1. Form over fixtures
    2. Don't chase points

      If you take those terms as 'just so' then yes they are pointless. However they barely tell half the story, usually there are good reasons to back form over fixtures (for particular players from particular teams) and don't chase points (for particular players from particular teams). Circumstances are everything.

            It's my first FULL season... I'm doing better than I thought- currently just outside top 40,000. It demotivates me though, when I check out some of the FPL scores of the people here.. 🙁

            Haha it seems like it's nothing special to them to get top 10,000

    Should I take a 16 point hit to do these 3 transfers or just use my wc?

      The key point here is whether or not the 'egg' in this scenario is an egg laid by a chicken (which renders the question obsolete), or, indeed if, in evolutionary terms, this "egg" was laid by a creature other than a chicken, but which now has the biological make-up of a chicken egg...

      In this scenario, I believe the "egg" came first, and as a result the chicken hatched from it and created a new species of animal...

      There are other variations I would happily accept given the correct variables....

      I'm not sure it's worth -4 for a GK...I've learned from past experience that GK doesn't really matter...UNLESS, you are chasing points.

    Please rate the following in order of importance when picking players.

    A) Season value (points divided by minutes played as compared to transfer cost) (reduced accordingly if a player doesn't typically play 90 mins)

    B) Recent form (2-6 games)

    C) upcoming fixtures (4-10 games)

    What other criteria do you go for? (I realise for captain choices things change e.g. rvp might not have the best value but he is the best captain)

    1) Who would you drop to raise funds for hazard?
    - Suarez...play utd away then nowich@home
    - berbs.....play Wigan @home then city away
    - fellaini...play swan@home then Swansea away
    - bale.....play qpr away then utd@home

    Whoever I drop, will buy them back with WC.

    2) Currently don't have any chelski players hence the need to raise funds...is there anyone from the Chelsea midfield who will score a lot apart from mata/hazard.

        It took me a while to become a member myself (no idea why), but joining I immediately went "this is cool, WTF took me so long". I recommend it.
