Points per game-a more consistent barometer of player performance. One of the better indicators out there particularly as we're halfway through the season.

Yeah I use points per game too when comparing.
But Evras points per game is 5, not 4 - big difference.
On current form tho, and the way Evra is attacking, he's defo worth a shout (imo) with Uniteds upcoming fixturesOpen Controls-
Still a poor return. Aim to pack your team with players scoring well over 5ppg. This is how this game is decided after all. 😉

Ah come on now, thats a pretty shallow view - its not all about that.
First there are no defenders with a better ppg than 5, so thats the Evra thing finished.
But generally its more about timing. Example, it doesnt matter if you had walcott for GW 13-18, you needed him for GW 20.
Same for cazorla GW 17 and Bale GW 19 - timing.
Of course ppg comes into in, but that am historical thing. Timing and luck are what make the difference 🙂

it completely disregards recent form which this season has proven the most important

I think they'll certainly keep more clean sheets then they did in their first 20 GWs but I don't think it's enough to justify the heavy price tags

Really want to pull the trigger on transferring out Defoe but 2 things are holding me back:
