Joe Cole tops our ICT Index for the Gameweek so far, following his equalising goal and eye-catching display in the Hammers’ draw with QPR. With David Silva ranked second and West Brom’s Peter Odemwingie nestled in third, the weekend has seen a number of differentials put in strong statistical shifts.

Our members can, of course, get the full data behind the Index scores via our members area but, as always on a Sunday evening, we’ve compiled our guide to the figures that have turned our heads thus far in Gameweek 23…

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

    greetings, everyone.

azpi & ba > gibbs & pod look like big failure to me. Hopefully they'll do anything useful to me this Wednesday. Still, 63(4) points & a jump in rank (13k to 10k) has put a smile on me today.

WC activated. already has davies, walcott, mata and gibbs in the team & roped in afro, silva, studge, remy, zaba & fed to play the price rise. anyone else i should consider to make some cash?

Jelavic's very inclusion is tempting me to say D), as I enjoy the odd punt. And I know he won't mind me calling him that. Should logic prevail however, I'd probably have to say A). Not sure.

Any WCers considering going without BOTH Fellaini and Michu?

They haven't been in the best of form (the irresistible Michu has been goalless for the last 5 league games)
I think Sturridge and Fletcher might be a better mid price combo.
It also allows me to have attacking coverage from all the big teams (Tottenham, Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea, Man City/United)

This is how it would look: i.imgur.com/3J0jd6z.jpg

Sturridge has ars, mci, WBA and a potential blank. Fletcher has much better fixtures! You can always upgrade when Liverpools fixtures ease up.

I got him @ 4.5. Plus his next 5 home games are against probably the worst 5 attacks in the league. Pulis won't let them defend like that again, he knows what they need to do for the next week in training.

A month ago people were crying out to triple up on the Stoke defence, and now a man can't even pick their goalkeeper 😉 Gotta love this place!

    Bale > Puncheon
    Podolski > RVP

The thinking being that Bale and RVP are equally explosive but RVP is far more consistent. Punch gives me an obvious benchwarmer from the front 8.

    Yea or nay?

I did to start the season, but decided the money was better spent elsewhere.

If I'm downgrading one of the Big 5 Mids, Punch is as good an option as any, and if that gives me enough to grab RVP, well...

None offer much clean sheet potential - so I'd say Harte, Clyne and Martin because of their attacking potential.

      1 and 5.

I wanted Clyne originally, but whenever you wouldn't play Davies, Clyne doesn't have a good fixture either. Shame, because I like Clyne, had him since GW3 or something.

you're telling me that he doesn't rotate well with davies, i can see. i had him at the start, but couldn;t hold to him because i have to sacrifice him for 3.9 def at that moment. pity that i cannot get him back due to fixtures now.

Because he's 28, in his prime, world class and could be playing for one of the top teams in Europe in one of the best leagues. Instead he's gone for $ playing for a lesser team, in a poorer league.

Well he`s 29 and he`s not really world class. And he plays in a bad league because he priced himself out of ever playing for a top team. Bit of a wank, you could say.

    2 questions about Arsenal Wham

    - If Podolski is back, will Walcott move back up top?

    - Given Sagna's horror show v Chelsea, what are the chances he's dropped?

    1. isacki: full casual

      - It's not Podolski related, it's Ox related - for Walcott to play CF he needs a right winger to cover. Ox is the best option. The other is Ramsey, unfortunately.

      - As a Sagna owner, I think he is more at risk of dropping now than anytime in his arsenal career.

Could, don't think we've used him there yet though, it would be new. He is two footed though maybe slightly right footed so better on the left cutting in.
