Fears over certain new boys’ starting roles prevented us handing places to the likes of Chris Samba and Lewis Holtby in this week’s article. Instead, we tread a path less risky and roll out three overlooked forwards with game time guaranteed and favourable home ties on their respective agendas this weekend.

Loic Remy

QPR’s record buy made an instant impact on his debut, notching within 15 minutes in a 1-1 draw at West Ham in Gameweek 23. Shackled by City’s backline on his first appearance in front of the Loftus Road faithful in midweek, Remy will be looking to return to goalscoring ways as Norwich roll up to Loftus Road tomorrow.

Harry Redknapp’s side are now unbeaten in four and with home draws against Spurs and City, the R’s will be confident of overcoming a Canaries side that have conceded in 10 of the last 11 Gameweeks. Handed the role of the lone striker in a 4-2-3-1 with Adel Taarabt pulling the strings behind him, Remy has played every minute of his two matches so far and offers guaranteed game time and a security of starts that could well see him prosper this weekend and beyond.

The Loftus Road outfit have six enticing looking fixtures in the following seven Gameweeks (swa, sou, SUN, avl, ful, WIG) which certainly bode well for their chances of survival and affords plenty reason for optimism. Priced 6.0 in Fantasy Premier League (FPL) and 8.0 in the Sky Sports game, Remy has the potential to prove a mid-price bargain as Redknapp turns to the former Marseille man to fire his side out the drop zone.

Victor Anichebe

So often a peripheral figure at Goodison, the Nigerian has enjoyed a recent run of games which affords Fantasy managers with an intriguing budget option to consider. Mainly utilised on the right due to a recent injury to Kevin Mirallas, the versatile Anichebe was shifted to the lone forward role last Wednesday as David Moyes dropped the off-form Nikica Jelavic to the bench.

An assist in the 2-1 triumph over West Brom maintained a run of form which has now harvested attacking returns in five of the last seven Gameweeks, with four bonus points also thrown in for good measure across that period. Priced at a mere 4.3 in FPL and 6.8 in the Sky Sports game, and with an ownership under 2% in FPL, Anichebe now welcomes Villa to Merseyside tomorrow. Given the game time, he is clearly capable of producing and looks superb value against an out-of-sorts side that have conceded two or more in all but one of their last seven.

Franco Di Santo

The departure of Arouna Kone to the African Cup of Nations has considerably boosted the Argentine’s appeal of late. Moved into the lone forward role vacated by the Ivorian, Di Santo has flourished – scoring in two of the last three, with a couple of bonus points also accrued.

Roberto Martinez’s side welcome Southampton to the DW tomorrow and, from an attacking perspective at least, are starting to finding their form – Tuesday’s 2-2 draw at Stoke meant Wigan have notched twice in back-to-back matches for the first time since Gameweek 3. With an upturn in offensive threat, the Latics will be confident of seeing off the Saints and Di Santo, at just 5.3 in FPL and 7.5 in the Sky Sports game, could appeal to those looking for a real short-term differential gamble, with Kone’s return from international duties later this month likely to see Di Santo move back out wide.

not a must have. That was the first brace of his life. If I hadnt bought him last week, I doubt i'd get him now, I mean, it's like the difference between having Sturridge or Suarez, I have Sturridge because I have Baines, but Suarez is much more preferable

I'm a happy Baines owner - His fixtures take a big dip soon but Everton are the ultimate team for causing upsets so I'd be inclined to keep.

5 Goals, 4 Assists, 4 Clean Sheets, 21 Bps - For a player you probably wouldn't captain, he has the highest potential upside of any player and his attacking output alone is close if not better than some expensive forwards.

Morning DZ. Long post ahead. Would be great if I can get some inputs on my plan.

Firstly I know it's 'stupid' to plan ahead this as things will probably happen, but I'd just want to share it so that I can know just idea of which sets of players are better

I'm gonna skip the DGW as I already got that all planned out.
This will be my squad after the DGW

    DDG Federici
    Zaba Wilson Dawson Davies Pearce
    Bale Mata Walcott Michu Guthrie
    RVP Aguero Sturridge

I have 2 plans from here on.. Which one is looking better?

Plan A: 3 Big hitters up front + 2 Big hitter at the back and 3 rotating cheapies
    GW 28: Dawson - Onuoha
GW 29: Bale Sturridge - Ben Arfa Suarez
    GW 30: Save FT
GW 31: DDG Davies - Ruddy Enrique

This will be my squad then..
    Ruddy Federici
    Zaba Enrique Onuoha Wilson Pearce
Mata Walcott Ben Arfa Michu Guthrie
    RVP Suarez Aguero

    The second one.
Plan B: 3 Big hitters up at the back, Sturridge instead of Suarez up front.
    GW 28: Save FT
GW 29: Dawson Bale - A.Cole Ben Arfa
    GW 30: Save FT
GW 31: DDG Davies - Cesar Enrique

Making my squad like this by then
    Cesar Federici
    Zaba Enrique A.Cole Wilson Pearce
Mata Walcott Ben Arfa Michu Guthrie
    RVP Suarez Aguero.

So... which one seems better and will bring home more bacon?

In simple, these are the difference
    Plan A: Ruddy, Onuoha, Suarez
    Plan B: Cesar, A.Cole, Sturridge

You deserve a candy for reading this long.

    Cheers guys.

Alright I read it all a couple of times so i understood it. Is there a mistake? Plan B meant to have Sturridge instead of Suarez?

I like A, simply because of the Suarez factor. The midfeilds are the same, so it's pretty much a solid defence, vs Suarez. In A you would already have a good defence, and out of the rotating three there would be just as good a chance of one of them getting a CS as Cole on any given week.

Suarez will continue to get goals, he'll be consistent, may strike blanks for a couyple of weeks but as we have seen this year he will come back to form and everyone will want him again.
the one thing I am happy about this year was buying Suarez before the first Norwich game, and just sticking with him the whole time.

Most of the season I have had Rvp Suarez and Ba up top, and that big three is similiar to Aguero Rvp and Suarez, and that combination will be great.

In short, A because of Suarez.

I can't beleive people saying B. A is miles better, assuming you made a mistake writing Suarez in B?

Of those players, I like Mata, Zab, Maloney and Cuellar the best.

right and gibbs is the next player out.. but I meant..
should I wait until next GW to change + bring in Enrique along with Sturridge or go for the likes of Hill, fabio this week.. with 1 ft..

That would mean less players for the DGW..
