Outclassed for most of the game, poor defensively, basically not good enough at that level.
Long story short, they couldn't break down Bayern.

1st goal: Ramsey doesn't intercept = goal
2nd goal: Ramsey doesn't clear at first post = goal
Ramsey is shite.
Don't know if you picked up on these little things.. but they resulted in 2/3 goals.
It's Vermalen who missed the ball during the 1st goal.
I'm still puzzled as to why AW didn't start Diaby beside Arteta. Ramsey was always going to be destroyed by Schweini and Javi.
No need to blame one person. They were shite all around. The only bright spot was Wilshere.
Oh, and Giroud should have started the game; so many crosses into the box without a proper recipient. Made me sick.
No the first goal the cutback/ mishit cross. Ramsey missed it in the middle of the box. He lunged instead of shuffling 2 steps and clearing it.
Verm was utter crap once again, and Sagna pissed me off with all his fake crosses. Just put it in the box and anything can happen.. just look at our goal.

It was surprisingly easy in the end. You wouldn't believe the torture I put myself through thinking that Cazorla would be the "killer" differential this week.
Theo is back in after 3 weeks out of my team and he is most welcome and a viable captain choice too.

I would like a strong defence, but the P5 along with RVP and Aguero/Suarez does look might tempting.
gunna pull the trigger on suarez to giroud in a few min. 1 week home to villa and it gives me time to figure out these blanks and decide if i want aguero cisse or lambert for the long run. good move?

I don't play FPL with LFC bias at all. But that is my gut feeling. The guy is playing amazingly well AND it's translating into FPL points too.

don't want to ship sturridge though and i think the potential of giorud over suarez is much better than however i could get shipping davies or enrique....
i might get suarez back next week though. it's giroud to aguero/suarez/cisse/lambert
don't go completely snow blind over the non-gw though... sometimes fielding 10 might have long term merit
Upto cost you buy Suarez, if not much to lose and easy to buy back. Then, do it.
Tonight's display does really put doubt in my mind about punting on Giroud - we were unbelievably weak. The fact he'll probably add another transfer to your plan is problem enough.

have the extra transfer planned in already and only 3 players currently from the 8 teams with possible gw 29 blanks so not too worried.
otherwise it's a straight swap to aguero but i'm not 100% sure if i want kun and i recon giroud should outscore him this week anyways

I think I've decided to keep Suarez and might have a cheeky punt on Giroud as well. Villa are unpredictable but seem to concede a lot of headers and the Spurs game should be a festival of goals.
Still some games to be played this week, though.
i just shipped suarez and gerrard for RVP and sissokho for a hit. had i sold gerrard prior to his price fall-whenever that was-i cudda afforded fellaini. dunno bout giroud. if he blanks then you've just wasted a transfer. not a fan of these one week punts
Me neither but the fixtures this week are fairly unappealing all round. Who knows which Arsenal will turn up, though? They're terrible flat track bullies and if they rouse themselves they can score a hatfull.

Around 200. I got 159 that week & was only 1500th for the GW. Rooney 64 captain etc.
Around 180 is the highest that I've seen. It was in a big DGW in the 2010/11 season.

you guys made compelling arguments but in the end i decided to go with suarez to giroud anyways. hopefully i'll be able to tell you all "i told you so" after this next gw and not the other way around. thanks for the feedback though

Twice bitten thrice shy, that said, Bale looks like THE goal threat for Spurs now, playing more centrally, shooting more, crossing less in the Ronaldo position of a 4-2-3-1 with Holtby at the center of it.
i had keep giroud for a few weeks now, hopefully it will pays off..bale is in his best form right now, might worth a punt to put him as captain

Just read the GW29 blank article. Even more confused than before 🙂
My thoughts:
1) ARS and EVE are likely to have a blank (i.e. they will unless EVE lose to Oldham in the FA Cup)
2) Both Manchester clubs are unlikely to have a blank, especially MCY. As long as Chelsea don't draw with Boro and then win the replay, MUN should also avoid a blank.
3) CHE and FUL are likely to have a blank (assuming CHE beat Boro in the cup AND beat Sparta in Europe)
If this happens, we just need to plan to hold no more than 3 outfield players from ARS, EVE, CHE & FUL. For me that's Walcott, Fellaini & Mata

i've got 3 in mata walcott and giroud but planning to ship giroud either gw 28 (most likely) or gw 29 (if i think he'll start and it'll be a goal fest vs spurs). plus rvp so am not too concerned

Basically, my impression from the gw29 blank article is :
ARS V EVE - probably off
MCI V WIG - probably on
WHM V MUN - probably on
FUL V CHE - probably off

BUT the two manchester games could easily be scheduled another time AND the games would have to be approved by UEFA because they would conflict with CL games. which means they are unlikely to go through given they are two very big teams

how many players do you have from the 8 teams in question?
if you can field a decent squad then i would save your wc for the massive dgw.
assuming all 4 fixtures would get rescheduled to the same gw you'd have both manchester clubs, arsenal chelsea and everton all in a dgw. you could get a MASSIVE score by maxing out on dgwers if that is the case
From all 8 teams I'd have 7 players: Szczesny, JEvans, Mata, Walcott, Fellaini, RVP & Aguero
If I saved next week's transfer and took a hit in GW29 I could field 11 starters.... Really hoping that at least one of the 4 games gets rearranged for GW29 midweek so I can save the WC to max out on DGWers for when they happen!
Haha no nice restraint though. If I had one I'd use the transfers up to gw29 to produce the best team possible for GW29 (for the 12 teams definitely playing then) then wc to fix it next GW.
