Back from a break, with two teams missing, us Fantasy managers are nonetheless thankful to have a sense of normality restored. Having said that, the next few weeks promise to be anything but normal.

For starters, Gameweek 27 is all about getting elven men on the pitch, almost as if what they do once there is a secondary concern. With a slew of blanks looming in Gameweek 29, a complex puzzle has formed and our decisions with just over an hour to go are the first of many tricky dilemmas to come in the next few weekends.

For now, our Matchday Surgery chatroom is open to collect provide a real-time sounding board for your current thinking.

The day’s Dugout Discussion follows around 12.30 before the early kick-off at the Cottage, with a troubled Pre-match preamble wrapping up warm and braving the cold in the next half-hour.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

          agreed.

or also, which one could completely destroy your weekend or make you celebrate. same thought process 🙂

Demel home to spurs with potential of minus points, not playing, cameo and def no cleansheet... but 4 points +/-2

or Fellaini where you eat 2 points (the min. he will get) but opportunity to make you drink more wine tonight after a 15pt haul

What will you do with Fellaini if he has a blank in GW 29?

I'd get Sissoko instead for this reason.

He looked relatively quiet but still threatened, and Lyon really parked the bus. He is always dangerous though and looks to have nailed this FK tekkers of his. Jussi beware...

I can't decide between him or Wally. 40 behind in my ML, RVP seems to consensus at this stage.

Top of the evening to you all. Afternoon drinking in the land of the rising sun has lead me here.
Trying to sort my team out.
    It is as follows:
    Beg Fed
    Rafael Harte Demel (Johnson Davies)
    Mata Bale Walcott Fellaini Noble
    RVP Fletch (Sturridge)
Do I stick and hope for the best or twist?
Could my bench fodder come good?
I've got 1 transfer and 0.3 in the bank.
    Which keeper?
Any input would be most welcome.

Thanks for the opinion. I reckon I could risk it for a biscuit and just hope for the best. I'm worried about doubling up on Reading players but I don't have much choice. There don't seem to be any inspiring options out there. You're right about saving that transfer. Cheers for the input.

I know Rooney has travelled with the team so not 100% that he's out... and taking him out (after I got him this gw!) would mean a hit. Still realistically I don't think he'll play and that would mean a 4-5-1 with Shaw in there and no other players to field... what would you do? Already have Kun,

    rvp or walcott captain?

If giroud plays will walcott go wing?

      RvP

Yes he will. Not necessarily detrimental to his output.

Reason for my captain decision - I don't have a 14 million pound striker for the team 12 points clear at the top of the table, against a team rock bottom of the league and not give him the armband.

      Oh. and it's RvP!

With RVP on penalties i think that may sway it for me

Looking forward to the Swans/Bradford final...Swansea deserve their final fo playing some great football these past two years...and great to see a lower league side in there....Seems that both teams are taking a shed full of supporters and should make a fantastic atmosphere...

Sissy. Fellaini has dropped in output and stats are deteriorating at present..

tough one. can the question be for next six weeks instead? that's the fad these days apparently...

either. great options. Purely due to Fellaini's blank 29 and bad fixtures after these next 2, I will say sissoko and save you one of your FTs in coming weeks.

Is anyone else keeping Sturridge and Suarez. I just couldn't decide on any other strikers who looked better mid to long term.

    Begovic (Bunn)
    Naughton, Zabaleta, Bertrand
    Bale, Mata, Walcott, Fellaini
    RVP (c), Anichebe

    Bench: Davies, Michu, Sturridge

Already brought in Fellaini for Gerrard

Was always anticipating a -4pt hit this week

Just torn by Bertrand > Evans/Evra (Quick points blast hopefully till GW29) Baines
Or Sturrige > ? (Anichebe’s situation is not helping)

    Have 3.6m in the bank

Any thoughts? Go with my defender pick is my gut instinct, or even go -8??

All of a sudden Theo is the choice for captain now. Changing Bale to Theo now, the third change. Conventional wisdom.
