Fantasy managers were handed a heads-up of a new double Gameweek afternoon after Arsenalโ€™s home match with Everton, originally scheduled for Gameweek 29, was moved to Tuesday April 16, or Gameweek 33 to you and I.

The fixture change is due to Evertonโ€™s FA Cup progress at the expense of Oldham last night. The Toffees are now set to face Wigan in the Sixth Round a week on Saturday and with Arsenal facing Bayern Munich in the Champions League the following midweek, there was no room for manoeuvre within Gameweek 29.

While the rescheduled date means Arsenal definitely have a double, itโ€™s not quite as straightforward for the Toffees. Everton have confirmed that if they beat Wigan in the cup, their Gameweek 33 tie hosting QPR will be postponed, as the semi-finals take place over that weekend. With the Arsenal game now set for the midweek slot in Gameweek 33 (it will be shifted to Wednesday April 17 if Everton win), this would mean a double Gameweek for the Gunners (NOR, EVE), a single for Everton (ars) and a blank for QPR.

Luckily, we only have until next weekend before the Everton-Wigan FA Cup clash but in the meantime, the double for Arsenal looks hugely favourable. Theo Walcott and Santi Cazorla will already be earmarked as potential captains โ€“ Walcott has produced three sets of double figures at the Emirates to Cazorlaโ€™s two and is likely to get the nod by many, despite being 10 points behind the Spaniard in the FPL standings. Having produced 30 points between them in Arsenal’s recent double Gameweek 23, their potential for points is obvious.

This is my team for now-
    Bego, Bunn
    Davies, Harte, Clichy, Dawson, Demel
    Bale, Mata, Sissoko, Fellaini, Walcott
    Giroud, Sturridge, Lambert

Need to take a hit to have any chance of playing 11 next week
    What should it be?
    1) Demel > Fabio/Wilson
    2) Giroud > Cisse
    3) Giroud > Suarez

I expected them to have announced the rescheduling of this game (whether in GW29 or any other) by now so I'm quite... surprised.

There's still another week for them to put it into GW29, should that be their intention. Up until that deadline, or when they announce it for elsewhere, it will remain a possibility.

That I am aware off, be in massively reduced Readings ability to score, hence not a true CS.

They were defending against a team with 10 men without there striker, that certainly makes keeping a CS much easier, not sure why you can't figure that out.

Don't see the connection, football doesn't match up like that, they are a different side, Moses has left. I am not trying to forcast the result however what they did against UTD is of no use to them in this game.

Aston Villa and Wigan are easier games than Stoke and Swansea, and even though Aguero's not been in great form I think he's a much better option than Cisse. He has penalties too.

Henry, Nasri and Cesc have all left Arsenal and have since won trophies elsewhere but do you not get the impression they don't enjoy playing as much as they did when they were at Arsenal?

Henry could never match the status he reached for Arsenal and while winning trophies for Barca he was stuck out on the left and played no more than a supporting role in that team. Nasri has win the PL with City but already his move looks to have petered out and Cesc is in the shadows of the elite Barca players and he is in and out the side.

Everything else is ok but i don't agree with your view on cesc. He has been one of the most consistent performers this season for Barcelona. If you look up, he has had the most assists after messi this season if i am not wrong and has been the second most influential player for them after Messi ofcourse.
He does seem to enjoy playing for barca without all the burden on his shoulders that he had at arsenal

Question to those who are selling RVP:
If GW 29 blank confirmed for Man U & if they beat Madrid in 2nd leg then will you buy back RVP for GW 30 bearing in mind that rest & rotation will affect him ahead of UCL duties?

I'll cross that bridge when I come to it and hope for some team news/injuries/suspensions to make things clearer. It will also depend on how well my other strikers are performing and what my other pressing transfers are.

      No idea in other words!

I'm looking for something a bit drastic to rescue my season so I'm currently fixing to go without him for the foreseeable, especially if they beat Madrid.

It is drastic though and most certainly carries a high risk of big-time failure if SAF decides to help him get the Golden Boot.
