FFS Members Cup III – Second Round Results

We’re down to the final 128 teams in this year’s instalment of the Members Cup as Gameweek 27 saw some big community names fall by the wayside including “Doosra”, “Back Back Ballack”s “dribbler” and “Gaz Downright”, among others.

“Evs”, now up to 20th spot in the overall rankings, navigated passed “CHUBBY” by a convincing 60 vs 41 scoreline but fellow big hitter, Jonah, slipped out of the tournament: despite being tenth in the overall FPL standings, he made way as “Dilley” put pay to his campaign by a narrow three point margin (42 vs 39).

Previous Cup winner, “Fuzzy Dunlop” is going strong thanks to a 40 vs 32 win over “DBREADY” but fellow Hall of Famer, “Kippax Kikkers”, departs the tournament, turned over by “BlzBob” in a close 38 vs 34 encounter.

As for the contributors, Paul continues to fly the flag – he made it through to Round Three thanks to a 46 vs 37 victory over Rossaldinho, as Big Dunc went out to “mcginley50”.

The draw for the next round will be published tomorrow afternoon.

              Chelsea have had a lot of good managers, who were not given enough time. The problems are down to the owner, and players undermining the managers, and since Rafa took charge, the fans have behaved shockingly as well.

      I don't see how he can carry on after that but ultimate respect to him as large part of Chelsea fans are scumbags. I was at the game when Chelsea beat us 7-1 and we made way more noise than them the whole game. The old fans are decent but the glory hunters who jumped on the bandwagon are a bunch of spoilt kids.

      Hey, that's really unfair. I'm a Chelsea fan, have been since 1990, and remember watching Kevin Wilson and Kerry Dixon starting up front.       Unfortunately Chelsea fans have an expectation to win trophies every year.

      Imagine how it feels to be upset when you're club doesn't win a trophy? It's much more refreshing to support a club rather than get upset when a trophy isn't forthcoming. I don't call that support. We should count ourselves lucky.

      A decent cup run, UEFA cup run, Champions league run (once) keeps me happy as a Spurs fan.

        I just find it utterly ridiculous that they can complain about having a manager such as Benitez and being in the top 4, consistently, as well as having won the FA Cup and Champions League in the previous season.

        It's not as if this is Real Madrid or Manchester United either, this is a club that had Scott Minto and Paul Furlong in their side before Roman's riches turned up.

      ive listened to it and he's not 'slagging everyone off', he's talijg sense..what use is it for the fans to turn on him now?chelsea dont get ch league they will be left behind and miss out on big players..trust me, im a pool fan and know how this works. could be a decade before we get back in at this stage.u cant get in without the big players. the big players want to play in the CL so youl have a season at most before they move on. missing out on the CL this year for chelsea would be akin to wigan or QPR being relegated except they would have a much better chance of getting back.
