We’re down to the final 128 teams in this year’s instalment of the Members Cup as Gameweek 27 saw some big community names fall by the wayside including “Doosra”, “Back Back Ballack”s “dribbler” and “Gaz Downright”, among others.

“Evs”, now up to 20th spot in the overall rankings, navigated passed “CHUBBY” by a convincing 60 vs 41 scoreline but fellow big hitter, Jonah, slipped out of the tournament: despite being tenth in the overall FPL standings, he made way as “Dilley” put pay to his campaign by a narrow three point margin (42 vs 39).

Previous Cup winner, “Fuzzy Dunlop” is going strong thanks to a 40 vs 32 win over “DBREADY” but fellow Hall of Famer, “Kippax Kikkers”, departs the tournament, turned over by “BlzBob” in a close 38 vs 34 encounter.

As for the contributors, Paul continues to fly the flag – he made it through to Round Three thanks to a 46 vs 37 victory over Rossaldinho, as Big Dunc went out to “mcginley50”.

The draw for the next round will be published tomorrow afternoon.

" West Brom manager Steve Clarke wants to keep
on-loan Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku, 19, at the
Hawthorns for another season." - The Guardian.

    Sorry Clarke, that won't happen.

So where is ENR... or for that matter any chelsea fan can comment

Slating AVB previously is actually kinda foolish now... As I said when he joined spurs... I will ignore what happened at Chelski... as you don't become a bad manager in six months... and Abramovich is frankly just a twa t along with all the players in the dressing room, especially JT.

Bale running to the sidelines and hugging him proves he can man manage and thus far he has been very impressive

plus i do believe that avb's philosophy is more suitable to spurs than chelsea..he prefers to play high line defense, and its difficult to implement with terry and gary cahill in as your defenders, compared to dawson, caulker and vertonghen..and with bale and lennon, they can launch a counter attack very quickly, while at chelsea, the players are more used to a patient build up

what would have happened if AVB joined Man Utd, Man City, Barca or RM instead of Chelsea last season.. would they have allowed him to stay after those poor results in PL & FA Cup.. out of LC.. 3-1 down and almost out of UCL.. team with the best defence in the last few seasons started playing high line & conceded for fun after AVB arrived.. bad tactics or players fault?

his tactics are not suitable for chelsea, plus there are players with egos in the dressing room who didn't want to change their style of play

If FSW didn't want the term 'interim manager' then he shouldn't have taken the job, if he knew it was such a big mistake, why did he accept it?

He took the job because he was desperate.........now watch him go the Real Madrid. Complete farce, this bloke still get's a job......

This is true, but I will never respect somebody who treats us (people who watch football) with such contempt.

'Torres played great again', 'Torres is excellent'. Ram it FSW and go serve table 4 😀

Exactly, and next it will be Real Madrid.

Also was part of the destruction of Liverpool. His transfers cost the club a fortune, something there'll still have to deal with...remember him in the final year. He was trying to get sacked (just like he is now), to get his pay-off.

              Yes I did, thanks 🙂

There are a lot of factors that influence these things, fixtures, players, injuries etc.

No disrespect, perhaps Rafa IS the worst manager Chelsea have had, but perhaps there are other factors as well.

I think the biggest problem though is the number of managers who've been sacked. A manager needs time to implement their style, to bond with the players etc.

    Siva,

let me try and be clear... I do not hate chelsea, I do not hate most of their fans.. I have a lot of friends who support them and they are really nice blokes..

what I don't like is the scummy element of some of their fans.. I have been to many games over the years and they are complete and utter lowlifes.. You normally don't see it on the telly.. They do not respect anything.. minute silences, race, religion anything... They make me ashamed to be English and are complete morons..

I recognise that most clubs have people like this, it is unfortunate that Chelski seem to have more than most

Big discussion about Chelsea fans here I see. I'll get into it too. I'm a Chelsea fan, and everytime Roman appoints a manager, I used to be really happy. But the last time that happened, was with AVB, pre-season I was really looking forward to him being the manager, it all went wrong and then I thought we had the perfect manager in RDM. Thing with us Chelsea fans is, we're ranting cause we're fed up of our club's policy of changing manager's every season. We can't look forward to next season. Who our manager will be, how much time will he be there. It is tough to be a Chelsea fan these days. And Rafa's history is what makes us hate him, yes he's our manager, but then again, he's disrespected Chelsea a lot of times when he was at Liverpool.

That's how the club is, I know it's not the perfect club, but then a fan can do nothing about it and back the team everytime, even if the fan's not happy with some decisions, but when a string of bad decisions are taken, it is very difficult for us too.

I don't think Hiddink's money minded, if he was, he'd have joined us 4-5 years back when we tried to get him. It's his close connections with Roman that got him here, I don't think he's ever returning now.

If he gets back, you know we'll be more than happy, and patient with him because we know what he can do. A string of poor results, and the fans won't start singing 'Get out Mourinho' and treat him like any other manger. He was the perfect manager for us, I don't know if he'd be able to do what he previously has done with us, but then again, we'd love him at the Bridge. We still call it Mourinho's team, believe it or not.

After every poor result you guys are calling for your manager's head. Whether it be AVB, Benitez, Ancelotti, or any other poor soul who manager Chelsea.

Have some faith. Believe in a long term plan. I think firing AVB was a huge loss. In 2-3 years he could of been challenging for the title, just my opinion. Proving my point at Spurs as well..

Tbvh, I wasn't happy with Ancelotti's sacking at all, he'd managed the club so well, I think the decline you may say, came after his sacking. AVB was a long term manager and planner I know, and I always backed him, but he wasn't really achieving the short term targets too. If he wasn't sacked, we'd have started the year in Europa League, lost big sponsors, lost money, and then we'd have lost our players too.

If there is any vocal hate about Roman's policy it seems to be drowned out by the rafa hate. Imho you should respect rafa after those epic European batters we had, like we do mourinho. The things he said were just mind games. Of which Jose was the master.

I have some Liverpool fans around me, and they made me enthusiastic about Benitez's appointment, but let me be very honest, I don't think RDM would have done any worse than what Rafa's doing right now. Rafa was never meant to be a Chelsea manager after whatever happened. I'd rather have a manager who's a legend for us, who, we know, loves the club.

The shit Roman Abramovich takes is quite amazing -: from fans of other clubs, from fans of his club, and now even the manager of his club.

Chelsea wouldn't even be sniffing around trophies in the first place if it wasn't for him. And I could bet at least 80% of the Chelsea fans who are Asian became one, only after the influx of money that Abramovich gave directly proportionate to them signing players and winning trophies. I think it's just his passion for the club being wrongly translated.

      P.S. - I like supporting the underdog (so what if he's a billionaire 🙂 )

There is something to say about the merits of a sugar daddy taking over a mid table club to see them rise into the elite. Otherwise we would have the same traditional 4 teams in the CL every season. Money has changed the power balance of football for better or worse.

A great deal of water ... and a banana. Coffee will just make you shake. Remember not to hold a sheet of paper. Try to avoid drinking tea or coffee with him - the cup will rattle.

Go to the bathroom and wash your face in hot water, then cold. Don't splash yourself. Also remember to have a pee, and brush your teeth.

Just focus absolutely on your interview.
