Great article. Just goes to show that GJ has a lot of stats going for him, but if you actually watch Liverpool play, he has been atrocious when on the ball.
Yes, he receives passes, but he does nothing when he gets the ball. Yes, he gets touches in the box, but nothing ever comes out of it. Yes, he shoots, but always off target.

Shevchenko and Carroll. They turned out to be actual flops. Torres, while a ridiculous price tag, is in a system that needs the striker to provide for the midfielders and score fewer goals (same thing is happening to Ba but since he cost less nobody is freaking out and declaring him the worst footballer to ever play in the history of forever.)

Is Jay Rodriguez a viable an alternative to Ricky Lambert at just £5.1m? I cannot afford Ricky Lambert unless I take a 4 point hit which is a real prob with all this uncertainty.
