It’s a scenario that has dominated our week, as Fantasy managers debate just how many transfers are warranted to prepare our squads for the next 48-hours. Decisions are likely to go right to the wire, which is where our Saturday Surgery Chatroom can come in handy, for those looking for some real-time feedback and extra opinion before the 11.30 deadline.

The Dugout Discussion opens at 2.45 today with no early kick-off but a Pre-match Preamble follows, revealing my own take on the Gameweek 29 situation.

        We first used it to take the stress off the servers on Saturdays - a few years ago, it was vital. Now, with our current setup, we get through okay but I've kept it going. We're iterating on the new comments system to create something that will eventually replace the chatroom. A kind of live comments thing.
