There was a major shock in the Members Cup Fourth Round last weekend, as world number 15 and site regular Evs tasted defeat at the hand of Rodallega Bombs. His conqueror has form, though, and sits just inside the top 1500 so far this term. Elsewhere, former winner Fuzzy Dunlop is still in the mix after winning 62-54, Diz was the round’s highest scorer with 72 points earning him a place inside the top 500 overall, while Paul continues to fly the flag for the Contributors. We’re sorting out the draw for the last 32 behind the scenes and should have that with you tomorrow..

        You doing Fletcher to RVP? Having 2nd thoughts again? I think I’ll bring him as there’s no uncertainty about his fixture anymore.. GW 33 blank also not gonna happen.. What’s your decision?

          Yes it seems like 99% ill do that.

          But atm im still looking at all the fixtures from now till GW33 and trying to argue the pros and cons. Trying to see if its justifiable to manoeuvre around the next 3-4 GWs without him

    My current front 3 is Suarez, Sturridge, Lambert. I've got enough in the bank to swap either of the last two to Rooney but not RVP.

    Would you do:
    a) Sturridge -> Rooney (c)
    b) Lambert -> Rooney (c)
    c) Lambert/Sturridge -> RVP (c) / Remy

        On the other hand if roo us benched and rvp starts and bangs a hattrick.. That's too much exposure for me to take!

          My perspective is that if you copy your rivals teams you're never going to open up the lead you have on them, and with the odd flukey captain choice or autosub, they could be on top of you in no time. If you have a lead you can afford to speculate, then play it safe again if the gap closes.

        Do you figure Puncheon as a 'power' player? For me him and Maloney is the same status.

        I think a lot of rotation is likely going forward. We'll see more niggling injuries too as players get tired after a long season. A power 8 I think is almost sure to earn you points vs having so eone like punch/maloney. That said, if Maloney indeed will have two dgws I reckon he'd be a very useful player to have.

          Na, Maloney and Puncheon are 5th mids who you can rely on for 2 points most weeks (maybe not Puncheon anymore) and feel comfortable benching but who will chip in with the odd goal/assist.

    I know there's a few fight sport fans here. I can't wait for JDS vs Hunt! I've been following for over ten years since he won the K1 grand prix as an unknown. Beating some truly great heavyweight kickboxers along the way. He'll likely lose but with that granite chin, sledgehammer right hand and huge ticker, you can be damn sure it won't be boring.
    If you want to see a great slugfest check out hunt vs sefo. Battle of the super Samoans 😀

      Should be a good fight, but I hope Hunt comes with some cardio. Hunt is a beast. He had a good fight against Fedor.

      Noticed this when you said you'd sold him in GW20.

      I kinda felt at the time that those who captained Michu in his DGW got lucky!

      The potential is still there but I guess I didn't notice how bad his returns have been. He's had a good amount of shots in the box recently (bettered only by Bale and Wally among mids in the last 6 GWs)

          Na, most Michu (c)ers just stuck the captain on Michu because they had no Suarez or Sturridge. I don't those who has him as captain for the DGW can take much credit. He scored twice as many goals as he had scored in his previous 9.

    I had been hoping the Chelsea & Man U gw31 fixtures wouldn't be postponed, but the fact that they play on the Saturday in the league and then play the FA cup game two days later kinda means they might as well have been, right? It's going to be a rotation minefield with the usual fantasy prospects being rested for the Southampton & Sunderland games.

        United would want to win the Sunderland match more than anything else, with City coming up next. Two losses in a row, which is a possibility if the Sunderland match is taken too lightly, could turn the momentum of the title race. Can't see Fergie letting that happen.

      Gently rub one of the matchheads back and forth on the strip until you build up a significant brown spot on the matchhead. Take another match and carefully strike it against that brown spot and you will have two lit matches 😉

            Depends if I keep my nerve, or slip to Benteke.

          I prefer Benteke as he's nailed and on pens. QPR will need the 3pts and go for the win, leaving them open at the back.

          Rafatation could get really ugly. I wouldn't go there with such a high rank...

      IMO Suarez and bale are the only two must own players ATM. So no.

      Ditch Sturridge for RVP

      I'd argue that it's a decent punt.

      Many will look purely at the Suarez's last 2 games and Sturridge's blank at the weekend but the statistics aren't that different from when Sturridge was widely considered better value and the one to own.

        Nothing wrong with owning Sturridge. One bad game doesn't mean he isn't a good prospect all of a sudden.
        The question was Suarez to Rvp. I see nothing to suggest rvp will outscore Suarez in the near future. Possible but all the evidence points to Suarez doing better

      Yea cause Suarez is in really poor form and not performing and his fixtures are really bad and Rvp is getting massive scores 😕

      Might be. But have to say having both rvp and sturridge feels quite good. I worry about Sturridges match fitness, and he seems prone to injury atm. Still think Studge get himself into good positions though, he looks smart, so it's a tough choice with 3mills between them.

    Choose any one:

    1. Cameron & Sturridge > Wilson & Roonpig (-4)
    2. Suarez > RVP
    3. Michu & Sturridge > Maloney & RVP (-4)
    4. Sturridge > Benteke/Ba etc

    No Utd cover at the moment.

        Dont know. But its not 8-10 weeks. Its more like 5-6. He playing striker, when he clicks he clicks. Cant see anyone with his potential anyhow in that price range. People are mentioning Kagawa, but he can play anywhere and will probably be rotated ALOT.

        Young, Nani, Welbeck, Shinji. Rooney , Chicharito all are interchangeable.

        I would keep michu.

        Yes, because he's been scoring in that pattern all season and is the 5th highest point scorer. Coupled with his price I'd say that's enough justificaiton.

      He's great and has been unlucky not to score more. Bad fixtures coming up though, including a blank. And you need slots to get dgw players in.
